Sucks, really sucks well. This is a powerful vacuum that almost to appear to be self-propelled as you go over carpeting. Switch to hard floors or remove the hand-held unit. Convenient.

This vacuum was incredibly easy to use. It is very modular and easy to apply numerous rooms of different floor types. We are coming from using a Dyson, and this is much more functional.

I bought this shark vacuum to replace a Dyson Cinetic Ball that I absolutely HATED. It was heavy, bulky, and gave us nothing but problems almost from the beginning. Prior to the Dyson we had a shark that I liked but it was so small: the dust bin, the beater bar, the cord were not conducive to a large (2500 SQ ft) home with pets and kids. It's been well over 7 years since my last shark, and I just figured they had improved. It's not any different than my first one, except pricier. First the bad: the cord on this vacuum IS NOT 30 feet long as advertised. It's 24 feet. I took off a star for that. The vacuum tips over when you use the wand. Like, every single time. It's almost as if the suction is so good that the base can't handle it. I took off another star for that, because the last shark I had was the exact same way. After all these years that problem should've been corrected. The power button is odd, sometimes you have to press it a few times to get it to work. It has to be adjusted manually when switching from low to high pile, or to hard floors, but the control is right up on the handle so that's convenient. It doesn't do well on hard floors. It only holds 2 attachments on board at a time. The beater bar is really small, as is the dust bin (same problem as the last one I bought). I was aware of the sizes when I purchased this time so I did not take away any stars for it. I don't understand why vacuum manufacturers always put a little hook to slip the cord into (not the one you wrap the cord around to store it, but the one you're supposed to put the cord in to keep it out of your path when you vacuum). I'm 52 years old and I've never in my life seen one of those that actually worked correctly. One thing I didn't think would matter but I'm so glad to have is a head light! I never would've thought that would make a difference but it really does! It really is an incredibly powerful little vacuum. The dust bin is so much easier and less messy to empty than that of the Dyson. The lift away feature is SO convenient when vacuuming stairs. Overall it's a decent vacuum for the price, but I honestly never would've gotten it if I'd known the cord was 6 feet shorter than advertised. I mentioned that error on the Shark website and never got a response. My first floor is 1700 SQ feet and I have to vacuum the kitchen/dining room, unplug and move to the family room, unplug and move to the living room, then unplug and move to the master bedroom in order to get the entire first floor done. This is exactly what happened with my last shark but that cord was advertised as 25 feet. This one was wrongly advertised as 30 feet.

this vaccum pulls dust really well. im surprised how good the quality is. for the price it was well worth.

this vacuum is great for getting underneath beds and tables with the lift away system.. wish i would've bought the XL because the canister fills up fast with the dog hair..

My wife loves this machine. Used to swear by the last two Dyson ball animals we bought for 500.00 Negative help from the company we tried this vacuum and found a better product less $$$

Purchased this to replace a broken Dyson. This one is much better than the Dyson. It has better cleaning power and sucked dirt out of the carpet that the Dyson left behind.

This would be the best vacuum if you have carpet floors. I have wood/tile floors and 2 dogs who shed a lot. Not the best vacuum for dog hair so gave 4 stars. The suction is good, the light feature is the best; you can vacuum under the bed without missing a spot.

Vacuum is great at picking up pet hair! We have four large breed Dogs. Carpet and hard wood floor.

This is a very nice vacuum, much heavier than I expected. The tools don't all fit on the vacuum, just a few of them. Also, when using the floor tool it does not pick up cat litter well.

Being able to use the vacuum as an upright or canister is nice. Also comes with a hardwood floor attachment that includes a dust mop.

This shark vacuum cleaner really sucks up the lint and dust . I was amazed at how much dust and lint my old cleaner was leaving behind even though I vacuum our carpets 3 time a week. The only thing I don't like Is that the unit tips over when I use the attachments.

I admit, I was a little hesitant to spend a lot of money on a vacuum. I was really happy with the Shark's capabilities of being a 3 in 1 vacuum. It's perfect for cleaning out the car or cleaning under furniture. Very powerful. I'd highly recommend this vacuum.

Shark vacuum performs as advertised. Motor is so strong I get sore muscles trying to control it.
