I researched a WHOLE lot before buying an vacuum cleaner. I had a Bissell before and wanted something with more power. I have now owned this vacuum for over 3 months, and use it about twice a month. I am in love! The suction is fantastic, the ability to use this vacuum in so many ways. I can use it as a canister, upright, or just carry it around. The versatility is fantastic ! I have not used the hardwood floor attachment and not sure I ever will, but its nice to have all the attachment options. After each use I do flip it over to cut the long hair off the rollers, but It doesn't get caught too bad. Its really easy to clean. The only negative thing I have to say is that is is a bit heavy, after a day of vacuuming my arms feel it haha. Sadly my couch is still too low to the ground so the vacuum doesn't fit underneath, but thats not a big deal. Overall, wonderful ! I would most definitely recommend to anyone!

This is the most amazing vacuum I have ever own. It is easy to use and the suction is great.

We needed a strong vacuum cleaner for my business and this has been perfect. We have to vacuum a lot of either just-cleaned or freshly installed carpets, sometimes with a lot of pet hair, and this vacuum has been terrific so far! It gets almost everything on one pass. It's very easy to set up--basically snap two parts together, remove a little tape and you're all set. The suction power is great, and it's very easy to empty. It's fairly light for a vacuum this powerful, but still has some heft to it so be careful if you're taking it up and down stairs. The only knock against it is price--it's a lot of vacuum for the money, but likely more than most people need so be sure you're not 'over-buying' a vacuum you don't need. This is probably overkill for a small apartment that only gets vacuumed once a week or every couple of weeks. Still, it's a great vacuum and Shark makes quality products, so at least feel secure you're getting what you pay for!

Turns good, light weight, easy to empty and take apart

I have had 3 Hoover Pet vacuums and after burning through them usually within 2-3 years each, I finally decided to try the Shark. It offers more attachments that are easy to use, I can detach the machine for use in high places or under the bed, and with hardwood floors, I like to use the canister option with the bare floor parts. I've only had it two months, but I'm really pleased with everything about this vacuum.

I was looking to replace my upright vacuum and also wanted a hand held vacuum for the car and stairs. This 3 in 1 vacuum solved my dilemma. Very powerful and easy to use. Does a great job on carpet and hard floors. Highly recommend. Great product.

I had concerns about the price point of this vacuum. After using the first time, my carpet actually looked like it was new. ( I had thought the carpet needed to be steam cleaned) The carpet with our old vacuum ( which is of a similar type) just didn't do the job. In fact my wife took it over to use at her parents and they were so impressed they are thinking about buying one. What more can I say?

It's scary how much dirt my old vacuum left behind:-/. This vacuum is so versatile. It goes from a upright to a canister and the wand pops out easily to get into all the corners and crevices. The vacuum path is narrow, but that also makes it easier to get into spaces my old vacuum would fit into.

Read the reviews and it sounded like this was the right model for us. Very happy with my purchase! This shark is light and easily manuverable. Cleans well and easily switches between reg vac, canister vac, and floor sweeper.

For the most part, this is a good vacuum. It has good suction and cleans well; however, it's top heavy and very hard to maneuver. It doesn't do well on hard wood at all. I would recommend waiting for them to run a special on an infomercial because I could've saved $80 AND got a free steam mop, plus a lifetime warranty, if I had bought it directly from the manufacturer.

The vacuum has great suction. It picks up dust, dog hair and all the crumbs left bythe kids. It's lift away feature is convenient allowing me to get under furniture. It is also easy to use on stairs.

was a sceptic about this vacuum at first. wow what a difference it made in my cleaning. I have to clean the filter and empty it after each use but it is worth it. It cleans better than my old vacuum.

This is a nice lightweight vacuum. Great suction and acessories.

Excellent power ability to separate unit Ease of operation

I have had a lot of vacuums in my lifetime including a dyson ,This machines blows them all away. the self propel is great in the carpet mode, It does what it say's it does.I love the lift away feature and the included wheeled cradle that convert's to a canister vacuum. it is great for cleaning the carpet under the bed. I have never seen a vacuum with so much suction power. It is a breeze to clean the canister when needed. This machine is excellent and very well made. I am very pleased with the performance.

This vacuum gets the job done and has so many different settings. It is sturdy and feels like it will hold up well. It is pretty heavy, though.

Had struggled with a Dyson not picking up cat hair for a couple of years and finally thought there had to be something better so tried this Shark and will never waste my money on Dyson again. This Shark is wonderful and our carpet looks 100% better now.

I bought the new shark powered lift away a few weeks ago. It is the best sweeper ever, especially if you have alot of furniture. All you do is lift the canister off, and brush head gets under everything .
