Great vacuum with super suction and with two dogs we need that. Also light weight and easy to operate.

Bought this after much deliberation between the Shark and the Dyson. My dyson just died after many years! But I did find the Dyson very cumbersome and heavy to drag around and to switch between attachments was a pain. Plus I was going through hoses like Grant took Richmond! So after careful review and considering that most of my home is hardwood with a few area rugs, my emphasis was with a vacuum that could handle floors easily without having to take 15 mins. to switch around. Boy, did this Shark deliver! I have three very furry dogs (2 border collies and an Australian Shepherd) and they leave behind dust rabbits, no bunnies here! This vacuum took care no problem, especially the hardwood floor "genie". And with the ease of steering it almost feels like it is self-propelled, fantastic! All the controls are on the handle and you can switch attachments quick and easily. Love, love this Shark, even though I hate to vacuum! This makes it almost bearable!

I love all the different tools, especially the floor genie. The suction on carpets is amazing! Definitely worth the spend given I've tried cheaper brands and the cleaning quality isn't the same.

Great unit, I looked at a dyson didn't like the price, I checked all the reviews and the shark was the better unit. My wife was impressed hour old bag unit was to heavy, this unit is lighter and very maneuverable around furniture.

Perfect fit for my needs. I have a dog and a cat that shed a lot and this vacuum really gets the hair up! It's light and easy to use.

I have never used this brand before, and didn't know what to expect. I was very happy with the performance, as well as how easy it was to use. Lightweight and maneuverable.

I can't speak for Dyson Vacuums but this Shark is amazing, my carpet FEELS cleaner. Our main issue is cat litter and this does amazing with that, I don't feel like we're destroying the innards of the vacuum while cleaning up. A+

I had to purchase a new vacuum when my old one stopped. I was not thrilled to spend the amount this one cost but after putting it together, which was easy, and using it I am glad I did. This vacuum is really worth the cost.

Had a 8-10 year old Dyson that seemed to be working pretty well but our new dog has been shedding a lot and decided to try a new vacuum to see if we could get more hair up. This vacuum has been terrific so far. Easy to use, sucks up substantially more dirt/hair than our older vacuum (not saying that a new Dyson wouldn't). Not sure if the additional stuff being picked up is due to the brand or use of an older vacuum but this one sure does this trick. Wish the canister held more, seems like we have to empty more due to this but happy to do so since it's sucking up so much more hair/dirt.

Our Dyson had to be sent in for service, and need a replacement until the repairs were complete. This unit works better than the Dyson did and for less than 1/3 of the price. This was an excellent purchase decision.

We purchased the Shark to replace a Dyson Animal which we had never really been happy with. We just replaced all of the carpet in the house and used the Dyson to pick up the loose fibers so as not to subject the new vacuum to this extra burden. After vacuuming one room with the Dyson I went over the same room with the Shark. I was amazed at how much it picked up! This is a cleaning machine for sure. The negatives to the unit, although fairly minimal to us, is that the machine is not self propelled and takes more effort to push over the carpet than other vacuums we have owned. Also, I think the attachments should have come with a storage bag that could have either been folded or hanged for easier storage. Overall I recommend this vacuum and I would purchase it again. It is because of the weight and lack of an attachment storage bag that kept me from giving the machine a 5 star rating.

Great little vacuum and so versatile. Easy to clean.

This is such a great vacuum. It's relatively light, easy to handle. It's so easy to switch over from vacuuming to hose. Most used attachments onboard. The rest of tge tools store in the caddy type unit. (Not especially crazy about the extra unit, but I haven't really had the opportunity to put it to use, for me its about storage, living in a small house.) The versatility makes cleaning faster and more efficient use of time. Highly recommend it to everyone!!

I have been a loyal dyson owner for the past ten years. When my cordless vacuum went out I looked at the Dyson's version but could not justify spending that much. I started looking at Shark and saw this model. It has a 30 feet cord and with the lift away it would serve as an alternative to my cordless (my house is not that large). I brought it home and I was amazed at how easy it was to use. It is also more powerful than my Dyson. Very easy to empty and maintain. I think I have left my life as a Dyson owner and now am loyal to Shark. Plus they are more affordable.

best vacuum cleaner I've ever owned. We've had the Shark for over a month now and it is so easy to maneuver around the house. The extra long cord allows to clean more rooms in less time. the slim line allows us to clean under the front of our dressers and hard to reach places without having to use the wand. Speaking of the wand and accessories they are easy to use and only takes seconds to pull out and use. Highly recommend this for anyone.

So amazing!! Thought our carpet had been clean, used this ONCE and it was insane what it pulled up!

Love this product! Only giving 4 stars because to date haven't had to use all features and attachments YET. I will say this is by far the best vacuum I've ever owned. It's quiet and cleans all my floors perfectly. Like it better than my old Dyson!

This Shark vacuum is the best one we’ve purchased. The suction is powerful and it is designed for easy use with the attachments and pushing it is done with ease.
