I’ve had a Dyson for years but could not justify the price of the newer models, so I tried this Shark and was extremely pleased with the performance. It does what a vacuum should do...suck up dirt, dust and pet hair in between professional cleanings. Still amazes me how I can fill up the canister from even the low traffic areas every day! I assume the HEPA works fine as don't do pre and post air sampling...so no complaints. It’s easy to operate and maneuverable around furniture. Only ding, is that the lift away caddy displayed with the vacuum is sold separately and you don’t realize if don’t buy the caddy, that convenience of the “lift away” goes away when you have to carry the attachments around and find a place to store them when not in use.

My wife and I went shopping for vacuums and we found this one at Best Buy. My wife liked it but honestly, I wasn't all that impressed seeing it in the store. I was aiming more toward the Dysons but my wife liked this Shark because of the significant price difference. She finally talked me into it and we took it home. I was a little more impressed after I unpackaged it as it was very intuitive. Even though it had several parts, it was super easy to put together and operate. I started vacuuming the house with it, truthfully so I could have something to complain about, but I have to admit I was immediately impressed with it. I had only vacuumed the house two days prior with our old vacuum and was amazed (and a bit horrified) by how much dust, dirt and pet hair the Shark picked up from what I had thought were clean carpets. I was also surprised to find that it help clear up my sinus trouble I had been having because of our house cat. Anyway, long story short, this Shark vacuum far exceeded my expectations!

Bought this vacuum to replace what we thought was perfect for our needs. It's so versatile and reconfigurable. I have to say that the suction power is better than our Hoover. Would recommend to anyone who needs a versatile vacuum.

This is the best vac I have ever used. Better than my dyson . Easy to handle and move around furniture. Great suction and picks up cat hair like no other. Easy to use on stairs and overhead for ceiling fans and window blinds.

Attachments provided can be overwhelming. But it is very useful if someone wants to clean the stair case. it is very light to move it around and can go inside the family van. it cleans well. well designed and great device.

I've seen the commercials, "get a shark". I never believed it until I bought this vacuum. This vacuum works well on carpet and hardwood floors with the push of a button, literally! Absolutely no blow back of dirt or dust!

Previously had a Dyson, but like Shark much better. Picks up great and is light and it's great on the hardwood. Very versatile and all the different configurations work well and don't feel awkward like other machines do.

Really does do a better job than a dyson.. It cleans the floor and under furniture great. It is quiet enough that my cats do not go running all the time. The only bad thing I can say about it is I wish I bought it sooner..

This vacuum is lightweight and easy to manipulate. It's powerful suction provides for a very clean carpet. It's HEPA Filter is easily accessible and easy to clean.

Very easy to use. Great suction and the 3 in 1 function is great and change over is painless from upright to canister to hand held. Much easier to manuver than the old upright. You don't get a hernia when lifting it.

This vacuum works great and better than my any other vacuums in the past. Its suction is very strong and good for carpet. It is also much quiter than my other vacuums. My wife loves this vacuum because it is light and easy to roll. The size is not that big. If you are looking for a vacuum at $200 to $250 price range, then I would recommend this one.

This vacuum does a great job cleaning. Powerful suction and pretty lightweight. I've only had it for about a month, but very happy w/ it. The only negative is that the inboard attachments are placed somewhat ackwardly.

This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. It sucks up so much more than my old vacuums. I thought it would be a pain changing it from an upright to the canister but it's really easy and it works great in both modes.

Very easy to change from one configuration to another. Excellent suction and cleaning capacity. I highly recommend the product.

Definitely a good purchase. Has several attachments to help you reach out challenging areas like corners, also great for under the sofa, beds etc since it has an angle that will grant you easy access. Great on carpets. It has a good absortion power will probably notice it clearly when vacuuming your car floor if you didnt have a vacuum before. Overall satisfied with the performance vs. price. Sometimes I wish it had a retractable cord but that's just a perk not all vacuums have.

I've been a Hoover fan for thirty years. But this vacuum in just as good, if not better than a Hoover. I am very happy with the power and the ease of using it. The ease of cleaning the actual vacuum is easy as well.

Replaced an older Hoover with this model. Does a great job n both hardwoods and area rugs. The attachments do a good job on our furniture and hard to reach areas.

It's light and easy to carry and to use under the furniture and its light to be carried when cleaning the fan and curtains

My Husband purchased the Shark vacumn for my Christmas present. He did lots of research, read reviews and decided to go with the Shark over Dyson, and I could not be more pleased! Saved several hundred dollars and this thing has some power behind it. Easy to push, Attachments work well. I love my Red and white Shark! Highly recommend to all!
