Wow...better than I could have hoped for!

It is an unfortunate by-product of having a German Shepherd. For almost half the cost of the Dyson...this vacuum has performed equally as well if not a little better. The lift away function is a great feature to the machine (especially with all of the stairs in my home). I also like how easy it is to clean the different parts of the machine. I wouldn't hesitate to make this purchase again!
