I've always been a Bissell or Hoover person, mainly because they've been affordable. Shark wasn't really on my radar when I went to look at a replacement for my aging Hoover. It was at Best Buy that I saw the reviews they have displayed by the price tag. I was surprised my how many reviews there were, and by the high score. Then I started looking closely at the vacuums, and seeing that they seemed to be better designed than I expected. I then looked at more reviews and decided to purchase this model. Best Buy even matched an online price, so I could get it and take it home right then and there. I've been really happy with it so far. The attachments stay put until you need them, and the dust canister hasn't gotten big dust clumps like my Hoover did. I would say that I'm now a Shark convert.

This is a great vaccum, that in my opinion, works better than Dyson. I tested this immediately after I used my Dyson on the same area, and it still picked up more! I'm impressed at the cleaning power and just how quiet it is.

Great Vacuum. Really great suction. Lasted from purchase in 2019 until recently the roller gave up in 2022.

I will never again buy another vacuum that isn't a shark!! The vacuum is great and despite the bad reviews on sharks customer service reps, they've been VERY helpful and reasonable with me. My hose broke at the top so I called shark and they sent me a brand new one. My son decided to vacuum for me one day, vacuumed my cord and ripped it so what does shark do... Sent me a brand new vacuum, same model, no questions asked!! I did have to pay $20 to ship the old one to them but seriously that is NOTHING compared to what I spent on this vacuum. I'm very pleased with this product and the company.

This vacuum sucks like no other, in a good way! Great for picking up pet hair and it does not spit back out the dust particles into the air. I wish the canister was a little lighter, but it was actually 5lbs. lighter than another one I was looking out. Guess I can afford to get a little workout while I'm cleaning :)

Came for a Dyson. Left with a shark. Took it home. Loved it. Wife happy. I'm happy. All kidding aside. It does not take $500 to make a quality vacuum. This is light, portable and does a great job.

I’ve owned this vacuum for abt 4 years. This morning it just died. The beater brush was clean and the filters were clean. Plugged it in.... nothing. What I liked was it was lightweight and fairly quiet. In retrospect, however, it didn’t clean as well as other vacuums I’ve owned in the past. It works well on wood floors but not as well on carpet. I’m not sure what I’m going to purchase in its place but it won’t be a Shark,

This vacuum is excellent. It is easy to use and to change configurations from carpet to bare floor, and from canister to upright. The tools are also easy to use. The price was excellent too.

Really like it but had to return it. Cause it was the 500 and not the 501.. cord is a lot shorter. Check your owner manual for model number.. get what u paid for..

I have 4 Shark vacuum cleaners and I absolutely love the brand. However, I really wish they would add a carpet height adjustment feature. I have very nice plush carpet in my home and I CANNOT use my Shark vacuum cleaner on it. It won't move at all! It's a shame that almost all top brands have a carpet height adjustment, yet Shark vacuum cleaners do not. Have the design engineers never vacuumed before????

I've had this vacuum fir about a year and a half now. I've been impressed with the unit but even more impressed with the customer support from shark. I recently got a tear in the hose that is just inside the handle and I was losing quite a bit of suction. I called shark and they are having a new handle/hose assembly sent to my address free of charge. Zero hassle during that 5 minute call. I continue to be very pleased with the performance of the product and the customer support. I'd highly recommend this to anyone.

This is a great vacuum at a reasonable price with great suction. The first time I vacummed with it couldn't believe how much dirt it picked up from carpet that old vacuum wasn't getting.

I was very impressed with this vacuum! It takes off when you turn it on. Is very easy to use. Easy on your back. Cleans steps with ease.

Fantastic for all floor types. Suction is adjustable and still amazing 3 years later.

Have had this shark for 1.5 years. Use it 3-4 time(s) whole-house weekly. Immediately noticed decrease in allergies & it is EASY to use. The 3 thing(s) I do not like: 1)canister is too small & fill line is under 1/2 way mark. 2) item is Front Heavy~fall(s)forward easily if not stored backside against a wall 3) Constantly~FALLS Forward (if) using the Extension pole without carrying canister around. AGGRAVATES ~the purpose; of Enjoying its "one vacuum does it all work horse that it is"! With a FEW TWEAKS I would be. lifetime customer!

My M-N-L was looking for a little vac that did a lot of different things - after researching the Shark - Rotator Professional Lift-Away HEPA Bagless 3-in-1 Upright Vacuum I feel we were able to make the perfect choice for her! She loves using it - and the way she uses it most is by allowing friends and family to come over and 'check out' her new vacuum - hhhmmm....she's got this cleaning thing down!! LOL
