It's pretty lightweight and does a good job at picking up dirt and pet fur. It was easy to put together.

The HEPA filter on this vacuum seems effective at filtering the exhaust, and it cleans great. The flexibility of this unit to work as an upright or canister is just great. We love it.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter's 30th birthday she had been wanting one for a long time and she just loves it she says it's the best vacuum she has ever had and very good on getting pet hair. I am going to order me one as well .

I’ve avoided getting a decent vacuum most of my life. I moved to NC, and now even my ceiling are carpeted. So it was time to invest. This thing has so many great and different functions, which I have not scratched the surface of because I am lazy, but is powerful, has many attachments and can also detach to be handheld. Easy to get rid of dirt and has many traps to catch items that might be vacuumed up.

I have used on the floor and carpet. Works great. Love that it detaches for ease of cleaning stairs and my vehicle.

I am very pleased with the vacuum. The suction is powerful and it is very easy to maneuver and clean.

Only have had it a couple weeks, but seems well built and has great suction. Makes vacuuming stairs much easier.

We decided on this vacuum after reading reviews in Consumer's Reports. It has good suction and cleaning abilities. It is easy to clean after use. However, my wife has found that it requires extra strength to push it.

Carpeted home with 3 small children and I must say I cant believe I hadn't bought this vaccum before. Light weight and good pivoting makes getting into small areas easy. Suction is above average compared to previous purchases of other brands.

I purchased this vacuum for a recently purchased vacation home. I really love the way this vacuum steers around the table and chair legs. Very simple to clean. I actually tried this in my main home with central vac prior to taking to the vacation home and it vacuumed dirt up off of my clean carpet floor. It really sucks! I am considering the purchase of another one for another vacation home. Do not hesitate purchasing this vacuum if you are in need of one.

Hands down the best vacuum I've ever owned. My carpet even looked like I had gotten it professionally clean afterwards. Works great on pet hair as well! I'm not a fan of sweeping because I feel like I leave so much behind so I Love the hardfloor attachment! After owning this I'm glad I never spent 600$ on a dyson

Been using for over a month now and haven't found any problems. Suction is great, easy to empty canister, and clean filters.

Our 20 plus year old Dyson died and we wanted something that would work well on both carpet and hardwood flooring, the Shark had good reviews and we went with it. Had it just a few days and it meets our expectations. Much lighter and smaller than our previous cleaner which is good for storage and carrying around the house. The suction is great and really picks up the dirt that our older machine apparently didn't. Highly recommend.

Had a canister vacuum before but this Shark has much more suction and easy to handle without dragging a canister around.
