I had the deluxe Shark Steam Mop and returned it for this one...I LOVE IT!! It has a very wide cleaning area, steams wonderfully, and cleans the floors beautifully! The pad pockets stay on very well. And best of all NO CHEMICALS!!! I highly recommend spending the little bit extra money to get this version of the Shark Steam Mop! The only problem I can find is that the cord might actually be a little too long as you have to find a way to keep it off the floor and there's allot of it to wrap up without getting tangled! But I can deal with that considering how clean my floors are!

I bought this steam pocket for a couple of reasons. 1. I hated the smell of using a older mop and bucket. 2. no more bulky bucket & ringer. 3. it's lite and very easy to use. 4. after your done doing your steam cleaning, you put the pads in the wash and wala, your done! I also got this unit because my Mom and Aunt are HUGE steam pocket fans and swear by them. You know, i thought about it, 2 women like my Mom and Aunt and both in their late 60's early 70's, they are definitely a reliable source and know a thing or two about cleaning!!! My wife was skeptical but when i showed her how easy it was, how nice everything smelled (or didn't smell should I say) and looked, she started to take a shine to it. The capper is when my 10 year son jumped in there one Saturday afternoon and did the steam 'cleaning' of the entire downstairs for us, then she was convinced that this was the real deal. If your looking to get away from the mops/buckets/swiffers, something that cleans, sanitizes and is easy to use and the pads are washable, then this steam pocket is for you!!! Happy Cleaning!

This steam pocket mop is amazing! I am a married mom of three kids, and I use this all the time. We have hardwood and carpet in our home, and it does a fantastic job on both! It comes with everything you need, the pockets are washable. I have washed my pockets so many times, they are not even showing signs of wear yet! When you have grimed up one side of the mop, you just flip it over and there's another side of cleaning power ready for you! This is a must have item for me. A+++ I will never use chemicals or a mop again :)

The floors look and feel clean like they never have before. Even used it to freshen up the mattresses. Everything smells fresh. We are in base housing with industrial tile through out so it was great to find something that cleans this well and doesn't strip the finish. I love that I can use it on the baseboards as I mop too.

I have been looking for an easy way to mop....I HATE or should say HATED to mop before I found this product! I actually want to use it all the time! I also have severe back issues and mopping was very painful. This Shark Steam Mop is amazing! It's lightweight and so easy to use it does not hurt my back to mop! And the floor is virtually dry when you're done! I have reccommended it to everyone!

I first did the bathrooms and the tile came out sparkling clean. I have very old hardwood floors too and have not been able to get them clean but this did the trick with hardly any effort. You do need to be carfull not to leave in one spot as it will effect the finish.

I had purchased the Shark Steam Cleaner the hand held one and was so impressed by that one that I wanted to try the floor cleaner. It was definitely a great investment, and worth every penny. It comes with two different pads and works on carpet (which i havent tried yet) and hard floors. Our kitchen floors were extremely dirty and after about 15 minutes it was totally clean, it was awesome. Our bathroom floor was pretty dirty and had a residue from our cat's litter box, but with this product it got it off easily and is safe for our cats. It does feel a little flimsy at times but it still does it's job.

I bought a steam cleaner because of my allergies. The first time I used it, I noticed how well he cleaned the kitchen tile, then the hard wood floors. No streaks and very easy to use. Then I put the carpet attachement on and ran it over all my carpets and rugs. I know it doesn't clean carpets, but it brought out the colors, fluffed the nap and killed all the dust mites and germs and removed all the odors, including pet odors. I absolutely love it and I highly recommend it, especially if you have allergies or pets.

I have been watching this product grow (3 versions) for awhile and decide to purchase the steam mop now. Great price $119 ,2 attachments, rug slider for steaming (freshen not cleaning), 4 cleaning pads and 1 dusting pad plus extra long cord. Easy to assemble. I was able to clean my kitchen floor (avg size kitchen with island)with no chemicals, I did not have to replug it in and the steam lasted so I was able to go over the floor twice. I was amazed at how it brought back the shine to my linoleum floor even my husband noticed. You will get a slight work out at first to get the mop sliding smoothly (I just switched hands so I got an even workout). After cleaning the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room I washed the pads. They came out of the wash looking new again. I am thinking about purchasing extra pads so I will have them in between washing. I made the decision to purchase from Best Buy because of the point I would earn (my way of saving for later use). I have not seen this product on sale yet, yes you can buy direct from the company but you will be paying shipping. My sister said I lost my calling I should have been a housekeeper trying out new products. I would recommend this version of the Shark.

My husband purchased the steam mop for me as using the wet jet wasn't getting the job done, leaving a streaky residue and the bottom of my socks still dirty (we don't wear shoes in our house). This product is AMAZING!! It takes a few tries to really get the feel and use of it, but super easy to use. My floors dry within a few minutes and you can see and feel the difference... NO residue & streaks. I HIGHLY recommend this product! It's worth the investment.

I have been eyeballing the steam mops for a while and decided this one is the one I wanted. I had pretty high expectations of this mop before I used it, and I'm glad to say that it exceeded those expectations. This mop does an exceptional job at cleaning ceramic tile and hardwood floors. I love the fact that it is chemical free and leave NO streaks. The triangle-shaped mop head is fantastic for the bathroom and is perfect for getting in tight corners and spaces. Another thing I love about this mop is the floors dry almost instantly - which is great with two impatient children waiting to walk around. Personally, I've used distilled water in the tank even though my water isn't hard - I thought it may be better to keep the insides free of 'gunk'. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this mop to everyone - it is far superior to the traditional mop and bucket, and blows other 'jet mops' out of the water. Give it a try!

Works great. Really cleans well. I'd eat off the floor after using this thing. Also works fast with no mess and very little clean up. Dries almost immediately which is a plus with little kids running around.

I bought this mop both for the lack of chemicals and the reusable pads. The steamer comes in just 3 easy to assemble pieces and was up and ready to go in about 5 minutes. It feels like ironing your floors, and uses a clever method for dispensing steam. The handle is also the pump, and as you push the mop around the handle pumps in and out delivering more steam. While it felt strange at first, I actually discovered it was a smart solution since with stubborn stains you usually end up mopping back and forth several times anyway which only serves to pump more steam out. Pros: The steamer has an extremely long cord which lets me steam several rooms at the same time without unplugging. The steamer heats up in about 60 seconds and has a large reservoir. The pads stretch over the steam head and Velcro closed which keeps them securely in place. The head can be flipped over while mopping allowing you to use both sides of the mop while working. The pads just get thrown in the wash when you're done. Cons: None

Was easy to set up and use. Cleans all types of flooring. Floors dry much quicker using this than a mop with a bucket of water.

This is a really neat thing. My husband loves it, (haha maybe he will steam mop the kitchen from now on) The only thing I don't like is no clean aroma when you are done. The one thing I like about mopping is how the house spells so good when I am done, and you don't get that with the steam mop. Other than that I would recommend it.

This product works exactly as advertised. I bought it yesterday and went right home to try it out on my ceramic tile floors. It surpassed my expectations. My floors were not visibly dirty, but after doing half of a fairly large kitchen, one side of the pad was quite soiled. Like other reviewers had stated, I was shocked by how much hidden dirt this removed. The quality of the unit also exceeded what I had expected. Well worth the money! I used my Best Buy rewards certificates so the price was cut in half! Also, the floors are only slightly damp but dry within minutes (probably would be less wet but I kept going over the same spot to get a deep cleaning).

This product has got to be the only infomercial based item i have ever owned that lived up to the hype! One restless night while flipping through the endless channels, i stumbled upon this product. After watching the program i stopped by my local Best Buy (1037) and picked one up. This thing is perfection in a box! Hardwoods, laminates, tile and vinyl floorings come out looking like the day they were installed, i'm not kidding, that good! There is also a carpet refresher that i haven't tried yet, but looks promising. The unit is steam based so there are no cleaners or chemicals to hassle with. The pads go right into the washer for easy cleaning, unlike my old swiffer pads. Now how's that for going "green"! Final thought, get one, you won't regret it.

Yesterday, I bought a Shark Steam Pocket Mop from your South Jordan store here in Utah. Our little dog has been using our living room as her toilet. Our carpet started smelling nasty even though we cleaned it as best we could. Today, I used our Shark for the first time and it worked wonders. Unlike another brand steam mop that we bought years ago, the Shark didn't leave any puddles and the steam was so hot, it refreshed and cleaned our carpets as well as our tile floors. I'm really happy and glad with my purchase. Thank you Shark and Thank you Best Buy. It really is a BEST BUY.
