This robo vacuum and mop is a must if you have hardwood floors. The unit is easy to put together straight out of the Box. It's pretty self-explanatory to put together but if you need instructions online support is available. The unit comes with its own cleaning solution which makes it easier to get things started. You first have to download the app to sync your phone to the robo vacuum. Once you sync, the robo vacuum will start to roam around your rooms to document how big your home is. Once that cycle is completed it's ready to start its new job. In the app you can name areas or rooms. This makes it easier to send the robot to clean and vacuum specific areas. Or a combination of any. The app is very useful as you can schedule cleanings everyday at a specific time and specific rooms. This makes it very easy to use. The charging unit has a compartment where you add the cleaning solution. It also has a compartment where all the dirty water is is placed after cleaning. This makes it easy to discard the dirty water. Overall this is a great robo unit. I would recommend this unit to anyone in the market to purchase a robo vacuum and mop combo.

The Shark Stratos 2 in Robot Vacuum & Mop is an important addition to our home. I have a lot of experience with 2 in 1 Robot Vacuum & Mop devices from other big brands and this one is on par with the highest of the competition. I needed a third one for the third floor we have that consists of hardwood and carpets. we own multiple pets so any device needs to work extra hard between pet hair and long human hair while not swallowing littered clothing items like socks from the children in the house. the Stratos performed very well.
Initial setup is easy
mapping took about 40 minutes
the clean water tank, dirty water tank and dust containers are all easily accessible.
cleaning and mopping function is great.
we run it twice daily, we gave it a schedule that can be customized based on your need and it works and cleans itself very easily.
noise level is acceptable and the cleaning is very good.
The app experience is 3.5 stars out of 5 ( on Android)
things to note:
The device only connects to the app through 2.4 ghz Wifi, wouldn't connect to 5 ghz and its not mentioned anywhere in the specification sheet.
I would still totally recommend the Combo Vacuum & Mop for anyone who needs such a device.

I have had the pleasure of using the Shark Stratos 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum & Mop for the past two weeks, and this latest entry in the Shark Nevertouch line is impressive.
We have a two-story home with about 1,500 square feet of mixed carpet and hardwood on our first floor. Between cooking, whatever our kiddo does, and wintertime, it seems there’s always something on the floor. This vacuum/mop combo is the MVP for “Between the big cleans,” keeping our home tidy.
The box it arrives in is large, as this is a larger unit than you may be used to with robotic vacuums from days past. It’s about 17 inches tall, 15 inches wide, and stands out from the wall at about 18 inches. It took about 15 minutes to unbox and set up, and the setup is very straightforward: Remove the base from the box and plug it in; remove the robot from the box; attach the mop pad and the side sweeper brush; fill the clean water tank with the included solution; and install the included odor neutralizer cartridge for the dust bin. After that, setup happens in the app.
The Shark app guides you through the setup process, which includes configuring your Wi-Fi network, downloading any updates, naming your robot, and starting a discovery run. The discovery run has the robot roam around your home and build a map of the cleaning area. It is vital that all obstacles are picked up and the floor is free of any obstructions in the places you want to clean for this discovery run, as the rest of your robot’s subsequent runs rely on the data it captures here. After the discovery run is complete, you are shown a map of the robot's discoveries, and you can divide it into rooms. The robot is good at distinguishing between carpeted and hard-floor areas, so it knows where to mop and where to vacuum. Drawing boundaries on the map is easy, and after boundaries are drawn, you can name rooms for targeted cleaning.
Once the discovery run is complete, it’s time to clean. I will be honest and say I don’t know how to measure how well it cleans aside from a visual inspection, but it does a good job. The large side-sweeper brush gets under counters and along edges very well on this model, a significant advantage over other vacuums I have had. Carpets appear clean and have nice, straight, uniform vacuum lines.
The robot is good at determining when the dust bin is full and will return to the base, empty the bin, and continue the cleaning mission.
The mopping function is fantastic. My hardwood floors look great, free of most everyday stains – footprints, minor spots from a spill or a drop of food, etc. It will not be able to remove spots that are stuck on – think things you would have to actually get down and scrub, but this is to be expected.
Object avoidance on this model is as good as I’ve seen. We’re in a tough period for robot vacuums – Christmas. With the floor pattern changing due to the addition of trees, tree skirts, gifts, and other holiday decorations, the robot does about as well as I can expect. On most runs, it can avoid the tree skirt, but occasionally, I have to rescue it because it gets tangled in it. Other than that, it has completed all missions without my having to find and rescue the robot from getting tangled. One feature that really helps with this is the ability to lift itself over ledges, flooring transitions, and small obstacles like cords – the back of the robot will lift about an inch and a half to help it over small obstacles or to get into rooms where there may be a difference in the height of flooring.
This robot is called “Nevertouch” for a reason – because you only have to really think about it once a month or so. The robot self-empties the bin into a dust-collection canister at the base, and gray water from mopping is also routed to a collection tank at the base. The app will alert you when to refill the clean water tank and empty the gray water tank. Every few weeks, empty the dust-collection bin in the base, clean the filters, and replace the mopping pad. These are simple tasks that take only a few minutes, and Shark provides videos that show how to complete them. Mopping pads are easy to clean – toss them in the laundry with your towels, and you’re ready to reuse.
Cleanings can be scheduled to run at your choice of time and frequency using the app's easy interface. Cleaning can be run on demand via the app, by pressing the button on the robot, or by using the Alexa skill. It’s nice to be able to say “Alexa, tell Clean Elizabeth to clean the kitchen” and have it run a vacuum and mopping session in that room.
If I had to mention one potential downside, it’s that the unit itself is white – and it’s already collected a few spots on it that I had to wipe down. (Gotta clean the cleaner!)
As I mentioned before, this robot vacuum and mop combo is a fantastic addition to our home and plays a massive part in keeping our floors clean. It’s not only a significant investment in keeping your home clean, but it’s also a great investment in getting your time back!

The Shark Stratos 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop arrived well-packed and included everything needed to get started.
Unpacking: In the box were the robot, base, two mopping pads, two side brushes, an odor-neutralizer cartridge, and a sample bottle of Shark VacMop solution.
Setup: Setup was easy using the app I downloaded. I had the robot explore my house to map all the rooms and hallways, and then identify the carpeted areas so it knows where not to mop.
App: The app is easy to use. I wish it displayed progress while vacuuming and mopping so I could
see if it has completed the areas I need before stopping it. I don’t let it run while we’re away since the dog can sometimes leave little “presents,” and I’ve been told the Auto Lift technology does not detect those.
Vacuuming: We have a pet, so running the vacuum often has helped minimize pet dander on flat surfaces and in the air. We have hardwood floors and carpet in the bedrooms, and I’ve found that carpet vacuuming is much better with stronger suction than previous robots we’ve owned.
I like the Dirt Detect feature, which shows areas where more dirt was found and suction was boosted. The only issue is that those carpeted areas keep showing detected dirt repeatedly, which makes me think they need steam cleaning since vacuuming alone won’t remove all the embedded dirt.
I also like the Edge Detect feature for edge cleaning, where it blows air to pull dirt or debris out so it can be picked up. This robot cleans edges better than any I’ve used—I never see dirt or debris next to the baseboards anymore. The Auto Lift technology has worked well for cords and other items left on the floor, preventing the vacuum from grabbing them. That’s a big improvement over other robots.
Mopping: For mopping, this robot is much better. The base has a bin that pulls out for water or multi-surface cleaner and another bin for gray/dirty water. I love that I don’t have to fill a cartridge with water each time since the robot extracts water from the base when you select mopping in the app. It’s a little slow extracting the water, but it works well. The mopping pad automatically attaches from the base when needed. The pad seems effective—the hardwood comes out clean every time, and it even removed sticky residue from a spill completely.
Emptying: The base also has a 30-day dust bin that holds a lot of dirt, thread, and hair. I haven’t had to empty it yet, but the bin is easy to access.
Summary: Overall, this is a great vacuuming and mopping robot that does the job well. I haven’t found much to complain about.

I’ve had the Stratos for about a week now, and I’ve put it through its paces.
Likes:
It does a good job mopping. The pad moves side to side, versus other robot vacuums that use vibration to clean or other robots that have circular pads that spin. The side to side action of the Stratos does a good job, better than I originally thought it would.
No bags required for debris. Instead, dust and other collected items is automatically deposited into a holder that can be emptied easily into the trash.
One of the best kitchen robot vacuums I’ve had. Gets right in underneath my cabinets and rides the baseboard. The other two vacuums I have from other manufacturers never got those last couple of inches, so kudos to Shark.
Self-cleaning mop wash, and self-empty dust bin. Nice and convenient.
Came with an extra side brush and mop pad.
Dislikes:
Battery life is not the best. My downstairs is 1800 square feet. A vacuum session followed by a mop session requires several hours of charging before the job can be completed. I have other robot vacuums that are fully capable of vacuuming and mopping my downstairs without a charge.
The mapping function is a pain. Trying to split rooms, and I just get a message that I have to start my line outside the room and end it outside the room. But when I follow those instructions, I still can’t get it to work all the time. Then suddenly it does. No sense whatsoever. I’ve had other Shark robot vacs and had the same problem with them. Yet all other manufacturer robot vacuums I’ve used that have mapping were a breeze to split and merge rooms.
The Stratos doesn’t seem able to vacuum and mop at the same time. Again, I have other robot vacuums that do both at the same time and do a great job. Having to do one task and then another is a pain. Takes 45 minutes to vacuum and then another 45 minutes to mop, instead of everything together for a single 45-minute period.
One more mapping issue- the Stratos randomly decides to go rogue and mop and vacuum parts of the house I didn’t tell it to clean. I watch as it goes into the wrong rooms, check the map, and the map shows it where it is, and those sections are not highlighted. So, why is it there?
It’s a decent enough robot vacuum, but misses on battery life, mapping, and not being able to vacuum and mop at the same time. It does do a great job of getting under kitchen cabinets, and has some cool functionality.

The complexity of this robot is interesting. However, it wasn’t enough to determine me from getting it. It is twice the size of our regular iRobot vacuum so I’m putting them side-by-side. It’s a huge difference in space however, the function of this specific one allows you to not have to manage it in the same way as a regular I. robot vacuum. So after taking it out of the box and putting it together, filling up the liquids, plugging it into the wall and making sure the area that I want it to be working in is clear and mapped out in the app which I’m already used to because I already Have a regular vacuum robot wasn’t easy set up. Again, I strongly encourage people to watch YouTube videos of anything that they are about to purchase or if they have that they are unsure about so that they can install it correctly. It is a little bit louder than my regular iRobot, but again the functionality is different and after it was done cleaning my vinyl flooring I was able to allow her to drive an under 10 minutes until walking on the floor almostimmediately.

I don’t have rugs or carpet. I have a German shepherd and I have yet to see pet fur around. It picks up dirt really well. Perfect for regular floor maintenance for a busy lifestyle. Will have to do a regular mopping once in a while if you have a high traffic home or if your pet is prone to tracking dirt inside. It mapped the floor plan fairly well. The app gets the job done but could be better. Haven’t had any issues so far. It looks quite nice and isn’t an eye sore by any measure. It’s not too loud I have ran while the family was sleeping and had no complaints. Quick and easy setup. Dumping and refilling dirt bin and water tanks are a breeze. the battery does seem to go quick but It hasn’t had to recharge in the middle of a job if it did I haven’t noticed. Definitely worth it at sale price though.

I was skeptical about getting this vacum but am glad I did. Has helped with keeping floor picked up and actually picks uo things as well as mops and doesnt leave a film on the floor. Very happy with purchase!! I will say make sure your wifi is strong enough…it took a while to get connected due to different strengths in wifi for different electronics at home.

Best Christmas gift EVER!!! With 4 constant shedding Frenchies, I couldn’t vacuum enough to keep the fur off of my floors. We set this to go off at night while we are asleep. We have it set to vacuum daily, and mop every other day. It’s very low maintenance and it works hard so I don’t have to!!! We still vacuum, but this helps TREMENDOUSLY!!!!
