What's great: Fast accurate mapping Powerful suction Mopping that works really well Includes starter cleaner and filters Amazing scent cartridge with the filter that smells clean when it operates - no odors!! Lidar and edge detection Auto-lift (awesome if you have area rugs/mixed flooring) Bagless design works great The app is easy to use and configure/setup (no super confusing settings like others have where you have so many options it's hard to figure out how to set it up when you want it to just run or clean a room) What's could be improved: Printed instructions included could have been a little more clear to highlight all of the features/things to know This robot vac/mop combo machine is truly amazing and actually works really well for us on our main floor/living area. So far, it has had no issues navigating between rugs/mats, laminate floors, and carpet floors and does a much better job cleaning edges than our old robot. I will say that like other vacuums don't get this expecting to just turn it on and have it work without some maintenance. Which brings me to the next point the best way to get success is to start with a good manual cleaning, then set this machine on a schedule (we do twice weekly as there's light traffic in our house), and then it's just a matter of keeping the machine clean and full of water when we see it low. If you do that and make it part of a routine it just works. The mop works really well and I like how this one cleans vs. others that just spin a round disc to clean, it seems to clean better. In addition, the cleaning process just works better and when it cleans/dries the pad it does that really well and doesn't just spread germs/grime around. It really does clean overall really quite well and even on carpets, it's definitely noticeable in how well it cleans compared to our old machine. I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try if you need an upgrade or have an old machine that doesn't have Lidar or mop capabilities. To me it's definitely an upgrade!

I’ve been using the Shark Stratos 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum & Mop, and it’s honestly changed how I stay on top of my floors. I didn’t realize how much time I was spending vacuuming and mopping until this thing started handling it for me. Setup was easy. After connecting it to the app, it ran an initial mapping pass using LiDAR, and I could actually watch it build a detailed floor map in real time. Within a run or two, it had my layout nailed — walls, rooms, and furniture were clearly defined. From there, I could label rooms, split or merge areas, and customize cleaning by room. Being able to send it straight to just the kitchen or living room instead of running the whole house is a huge plus. The navigation is efficient and methodical, cleaning in neat rows instead of bouncing around randomly. If it needs to return to the base to empty debris or refill water, it remembers exactly where it left off and resumes cleaning in the same spot. I also added no-go zones for cords and rugs, and it respects those boundaries every time. The NeverTouch self-cleaning base is a standout. It empties the dustbin, washes and dries the mop pad, and refills water automatically, so I can go weeks without touching it. Suction is strong, edge cleaning is solid, and the mop actually scrubs instead of just dragging a damp pad. Overall, the Shark Stratos feels genuinely smart and low-maintenance. If you want clean floors without constant effort, this robot actually delivers.

I’ll start by saying I am already a huge fan of Shark Robot Vacuums. Our current model is the ProDetect, which self empties the bin and drys the mop pad. It does not clean the mop pad. The Stratos also self empties and dries, but also cleans the pad. I love that added feature which makes it truly hands free for a 30 day cycle. My first impression of the Stratos was that is looks snazzier and more contemporary simply because it’s white! In a white kitchen or a home with light floors, moving away from the standard black robot vacuum look would be welcome I’m sure. However, we have dark floors and the white is super stand out for an appliance I’d rather have blend in. It still looks stunning and modern, it just has no chance at fading into the background. So, standout is the name of the game. The color is not the only thing that stands out though. This little beauty can CLEAN! I was elated to find out how simple it is to add another robot to my Shark app and have them both work. I wish they could use one map, but I understand the each need to navigate their own way separately—just Shark food for thought! Now I have robot upstairs and one downstairs, which is decadent. The Stratos does everything the ProDetect does (except ProDetect because it does not have that particular elevated tech onboard). I cannot yet tell a difference in level of clean. Both have the one thing I love about Shark—the edge blowers. Stratos relies on puffs of air to blow debris out of the corners and sucks it up. That allows the completely round shape to be just as good (better) at getting into corners and getting out fuzzballs and cobwebs as a square vacuum head. I’m constantly amazed by the clean corners and nooks after a cleaning job is completed. The mapping and cleaning are intuitive in the app. Stratos maps your space, you can make modifications or no fly zones as needed, label rooms, split or combine spaces, and you’re off. Stratos will vacuum, mop, or mop and vacuum the spaces you indicate depending on your preferences. The mop pad will lift as she traverses carpet or rugs, so as not to get those wet when you select a vacuum and mop outing. The robot returns to dock as needed for recharges or bin empties. You’ll hear the pad cleaning and drying after mop jobs! She will alert you to refill the cleaner solution or empty the bin as needed. Oh—and the Shark mop solution is inexpensive at regular retail outlets, no worries about spending a ton on that. It lasts through numerous cleanings. Shark makes the most accurate and best cleaning robots I have used, and I have used several over the past decade or more. Buy a Stratos robot vacuum with confidence that it will clean as designed —SO great at pet hair!! — and be assured Shark customer service is excellent should encounter any issues.

Characterizing the setup of a major appliance like this depends on your level of familiarity with autonomous vacuums. I’ve used a number of basic robot vacuums over the years so I knew that, after unpacking and snapping in the brush, I’d need to locate an ideal location for the home-base. It’s important to have plenty of room around the base and for it to be easy to access. Once that’s done, you’ll need to place the vacuum in place on the base and let it charge. While charging, you should immediately sync with the Stratos app. Once charged, send it out to map as much of the floor areas and rooms you plan to have it clean. - A helpful tip: I recommend preparing the area for the initial scan in order for it to have as full a picture as possible. For example, if you have a dinning table with chairs, put the chairs up on the table during the scan so the unit will cover the area underneath. Robo-vacs often don’t fit between chair legs so scheduled runs will likely miss that area. But, if you’ve scanned it, you can choose to put the chairs up now and then so it will go underneath. After your area(s) have been scanned, you’ll see a map in your app. It will be automatically broken into separate rooms, but you can adjust that as needed. Once this is done, you can send the Shark Stratos 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum & Mop out to clean! For me, it works very well, picking up dirt, hair, and dust with no trouble. The mopping feature is a great bonus, and the NeverTouch self-cleaning base makes everything low-maintenance and truly hands-free. I love that it has so many smart features and keeps my floors clean without me having to think about it. This is both a blessing and a relief. The last time I tried a ‘full-featured’ robo-vac with a camera and sensors (7+ years ago), it was so ‘sensitive’ it was ‘afraid’ to do anything! Not so with the Shark Stratos. Clearly the technology has come a long way and is ready for prime time. Highly recommend!

First off, there is a lot to like here. I have used other robot vacuums before but not one with mopping capabilities. This is a real winner! We have hardwood floors throughout the house. We have pets so it works much better than carpet. A good mopping robot is a necessity to keep the floor clean. This device was easy to set up. Physically, this set up quickly with really no issues. As far as the app it was quick and easy to set up as well. It walks you though connecting the robot and doing initial setup. Now for use, an issue we had with past robots is they get stuck somewhere and never finish cleaning. Initially this unit maps your floor to understand where chairs, furniture, etc are located. You then schedule a cleaning. Our initial cleaning went well but it seemed to work better with each additional cleaning. It also handled pet hair with little problem. Being hands free after each cleaning is great as well. You don't want to have to handle the unit every time its used and this makes it possible. Very happy with this robot and plan to use if for a long time to come.

Best Mop Vacuum I have had and Tested

I was excited for this Vacuum & Mop robot combo from Shark, as I have an older model from another company that was on its last leg. I have tile and wood floors with a few area rugs so mop function is very nice have for my needs. When I got this I placed it in the middle of the house so the robot would be able to easily return to its home base, from any of the four areas that are connected in an open concept design. The setup through the app was pretty simple, took me roughly 30 minutes to get everything assembled, logged in and signed up. While it does take along time for these robots at the start, it mapped all the areas with its LiDAR mapping. It was highly accurate after all the trips it took out from the home base, it was pretty intuitive from that aspect. What stood out was after the first 5 days, is where i saw it really excel on its schedule, and when i wanted it to go to a certain area. Its cleaning power is phenomenal, from other models I have used in the past. I would say where this exceled mainly was its quick transition from the different floor types. It didn't matter and adjusted on the fly. I'm really happy with this model, and my floors look amazing now. The self emptying, self drying and self refilling of the liquids was top notch. I love that I don't have to be so heavily involved and it can do its thing when I'm at work. I will say the app does need some love from the developers, but that my only gripe. The product is phenomenal and It excels at what its supposed to do!
