I've been sticking with Shark for my hard floors for years and I can't imagine choosing anyone else. They've nailed it every time! This one is easy to handle and can fold on itself to become more compact for storage. You can't go wrong with this especially if you get it on sale!

This is a really good cordless vacuum with only a couple of areas that could use improvement. It does a very good job of picking up dirt and pet hair from carpet and is very easy to empty without the need to reach into the container to pull out hair which is a common problem with vacuums. It has enough space to hold a few rugs of dirt and pet hair. If you have a large job, you will likely have to empty it more than once. I have two dogs and plenty of dog hair and experienced absolutely no hair wrap as they claim. The Clean Sense seems to work as it changes during the course of vacuuming and has an indicator to tell you how hard it is working. I just assume it is working as it changes but have no way to actually test it. I was never able to get it past the halfway mark. It folds in half, and easily tucks away in the corner of a room without getting in the way. I vacuumed 4 large area rugs and had about 60% of the battery left. It allows it to fold in such a way to allow it to easily get under furniture and does fit under very low furniture. The vacuum does not stand up on its own when not folded and requires it to lean up against something it you need to set it aside. Unfortunate. Also, there is no indicator to tell you when it is charging and when it is done changing so you just have to plug it in and guess when it is done. Also unfortunate. These two problems should be fixed. Overall, very good cordless vacuum that's easy to just quickly grab and use.

I love this vacuum! It’s lightweight, and maneuvers really well. The added odor eliminator is a great addition and makes the home smell fresh. I can vacuum the entire house,( hardwood floors) without the battery draining fast or dying. We have 2 dogs and it picks up the hair without any problems with tangling. The dust canister is large and easy to open. Favorite feature is that I can actually vacuum under the beds and coffee tables without any trouble do to the multiflex feature. I bought this when it was on sale, so literally the best bang for my buck! If you’re on the fence, go for it! You’ll love it!

appreciate the HEPA filter and anti-allergen tool. Easy to assemble, it took less than 2 minutes. noteworthy feature is the odor neutralizer. This is great for homes with pets or rugs that tend to accumulate odors. The motor is powerful, and the LED lights illuminate small pieces of dirt and pet hair. The LED screen makes it easy to check how much battery is left as well as view the current settings. easy to store. It can lean against the wall or even fold down. The fold-down mechanism helps clean very tight spaces.

The suction is much better than the Dyson V15 that we replaced it for. GIVING IT 3 stars rather than 4 due to battery life avg run time 15-20 min. Storage position is bit odd with battery near the floor when folded. Vacuum is unstable in upright position

Good suction and easy to use. A better design would be to balance out the unit so it would stand on its own instead of folding in half. That should be an option for easy storage.

Dyson isn't worth the extra money

Honestly, it's a solid vacuum. Could the build quality be sturdier? For sure. Do I feel it's going to break with no normal use? Only when my girlfriend operates it with that altima energy. Felt like I still needed to get a Dyson to make peace with the purchase and picked up a v11. I was really disappointed with the Dyson because my expectation was much higher and it just felt like I was paying $200 more to have 20 attachments I wouldn't use. I don't have a pet with long hair, but I have a really close example and it handles everything so much better than I wanted to believe. I was gifted a Rainbow vac and I use that for big cleans. For everyday use, the shark exceeded my expectations. It pulls dust and dirt from between LVP that I didn't even know was there. Plus, it even stands on it's own so more issues laying down your vacuum to trip over it later. The only con I had was that the dual roller head on the shark is louder than I was used to but it's not terrible. You learn to love not needing to swap heads for different floors. Just be conscious of the folding system and feel good about owning a vacuum that outperforms the Dyson for the majority of people who aren't living with 17 huskies. I give it 4 stars because the folding system should have been alumnium or steel (I put 5 to cancel out those people who bash products for not taking 2 mins to figure out how it works... You know who you are). Do it. No ragrets. Not even a single vacuum.

Quite disappointing. I didn’t have the tech package so I could return it after 15 days. I want my money back but it’s too late. I’m not happy. Everything is awesome about the vacuum cleaner except the IQ part. It really makes the vacuum perform less well because it has a range from 100% and it goes down as your back and if the IQ sensors are blocked the percentage goes down so you have less power. Well that’s a problem because there’s nothing blocking the IQ sensor but it’s only vacuum it like it’s 70 or 80% and that’s a problem at 100% clean 100% power at all times, so I don’t know I can’t figure that IQ sensor part. I don’t know it’s pretty cool smells good with a freshner that’s included and it’s true that it does it gather a wrap hair around the blade. The accessories that you can attach are very useful for cleaning the top of the ceiling fan with blades. Or under a couch a little the cordless feature is great because that’s such a pain when you’re trying to vacuum and have to carry a cord everywhere with you were accidentally vacuum over it or wrap it up when you’re done this takes the work out of the job. And vacuum is very light for my carpal tunnel in hand, pain and neuropathy and Neurology issues.

Excellent cordless stick vacuum. Easy to assemble and was able to use it within 5 minutes of opening the box. I recommend using the "Eco Mode" power setting as the battery will last longer. Works best on hardwood/laminate flooring. Picked up every speck of dirt, dust, kitty litter etc. from the floor. This vacuum is highly rated by Consumer Reports and is well worth the cost. List price is $499.99 but I purchased mine on sale for $299.99 at Best Buy!!!!!

Great vacuum. The battery life isn't fantastic but my house is roughly 2200 sq ft and it will vacuum the whole house on one charge. The suction is fantastic. It sucks up debris on the sides which is nice. I love how it folds over on itself so it can stand up on its own. The dustbin is super easy to empty and it usually gets everything out without me reaching in there.

Overall, this is a nice machine. It is lightweight and portable. It’s suction leaves a something to be desired when using it as a handheld w/ attachments, but it still handles general cleaning well. The battery life is good enough to handle a medium size home with bare floors. I would not suggest this for anyone with large amounts of carpet. Anything larger than a bouncy ball will get stuck and need to be manually removed. All said, I am happy with my purchase.

Wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but it surprised. It had great suction and picked up stuff my vacuum missed. It was a little awkward on how you have to flip the stick forward and backwards while holding the button while doing this. I was always afraid it was going to break or get my fingers. The charge on this is good and lasted long enough to do my entire house. However, it's not very practical for a larger home. I would definitely recommend this for an apartment, townhome or condominium.
