This vacuum has incredible suction power. The lift away feature is very handy when doing stairs and vacuuming under furniture. It's very easy to release the wand for hand vacuuming and cleaning out the canister. Its very agile and moves with ease. I don't find it heavy for a full sized corded vacuum, however, I am an able bodied reasonably healthy 40 year old. The freshener cartridge has a pleasant, non lingering scent.

Awesome vacuum! Clumsy, but strong! With its large container it tends to be a little top heavy and wants to lean to whichever side you're steering towards. But, other than that this thing has the best suction I've seen since my Mom's Kirby. The rollers are truly hair shedding... I have daughters and that's the #1 complaint I've had with ALL of our vacuums! NOT THIS ONE :) Whats cool is the hairs get spun up on top of the cone filter and it's easy to remove the wad when emptying the container!! The 2nd best feature I love it's the ability to vacuum both out carpets and hard floors! Now my Dyson stick stays in the pantry! Definitely recommend to all my family and friends!

Love my Shark Stratos! The suction is amazing and picks up every bit of dust, cat and dog hair. It transitions easily from hard floors to area rugs and plush carpeting. The odor neutralizer works wonders to combat nasty pet smells. It's well worth the investment.

I suspect the Shark has a side gig as a magician – making dirt disappear faster than you can say “clean freak.” The suction power is so intense; I accidentally vacuumed up my neighbor’s Wi-Fi signal. Now my internet is faster, and the Shark is probably streaming Netflix in its secret lair. Bonus points for multitasking! Navigating with this vacuum is like watching a choreographed dance – it gracefully swivels around furniture, slides under tables, and does a pirouette around the cat without disturbing its beauty sleep. I half-expected it to leave a vacuum trail spelling out “clean” behind it. The attachments are like vacuum accessories from the future. There’s a pet hair brush that’s so effective; it convinced my neighbor to adopt a cat just for the thrill of using it. The crevice tool is the superhero of tight spaces – forget crumbs, it can probably vacuum up my excuses for not cleaning sooner. The only downside? My other appliances are now jealous. My blender tried to pick a fight, but the Shark just stared it down with those powerful LED headlights. It’s like having a vacuum with an attitude – in a good way. This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. I bought it to replace my 10-year-old Shark which I also loved. I was shocked how much more suction this Stratos has, and with a dog and 4 women in the house, the self-cleaning brushroll is amazing. Highly recommend!

This is a good vacuum if you have pets. I love the hairless rollers, big improvement. It is a little loud, but sound it makes is not horrible. I give it 4 stars because the attachments on my old shark vacuum were better, but I kept them & they fit on this one so no biggie. Overall happy with my purchase.

Whoa! Very impressed. Super strong vacuum!!! I had been using a cordless for many years. My first time using this, the canister was almost full of dust and debris that my hand held never picked up. It is a bit heavy and takes a little umph to maneuver around the floors. Not for elderly or someone who doesn’t have a lot of strength. Outside of that, it’s a dream. Might be considered a little loud, too? But for the amazing job it does, I don’t care about the noise. Canister is very easy to empty. No concerns about getting dirty to do it. Self cleaning rollers? Works better than I hoped! No more long hair wrapped around the roller. This is the single greatest feature.

Thus vacuum works really well and the air freshener is a nice touch.

wife and i own and operate a small cleaning company we have in the past gone through several 4 or 5 different brands of vacuums and had little to no luck they all failed quickly or just never really cleaned well to begin with but 16 years ago we had been given an older shark vacuum as a wedding gift and we loved it lasted us for years before it broke down so we bought the shark stratos and so far we have been in love it has been great its ability at cleaning hard floors is spectacular and carpet is just as good and the lift away feature makes doing steps and under furniture or using it to clean in high places easy as pie and the self cleaning brush roller systems actually keep all the hair in the front roller where its easy to clean out and i was worried that the oder control device would have a heavy sent as im really sensitive to sented air fresheners but luckily it smells freah and relatively neutral and hasnt bothered me as it dosnt linger for too long after running the vacuum all and all the shark stratos is a solid vacuum we have already used it hard use in the short time weve had it and so far it has over exceeded my expectations if you are thinking about if you should buy one just do it it is worth the price tag

By far one the best vacuums ever made by shark. The suction power is ridiculous amazingly love how the power button is on the handle and not on the base. The cord length definite kudos to them adding way more length. The led is a very touch. The modes can be switched from the handle definitely loving that and finally the air freshener they built into the system is so refreshing!!!!

Best purchase made. It has powerful suction and picks up a ton of dog fur that previous shark navigator did not. I really like the versatility to change to hand held canister vac to get under the bed. The odor pod is really nice as well. It gives off a nice fresh scent whild vacuuming.

I love Shark vacuums... until around the 3rd year when they seem to start slowing down. This one came highly rated & I got the warranty so hopefully this wont be an issue. My floors look great, its a really powerful vacuum. It works twice as efficiently as the dyson i bought last year. I also like the air freshener addition to the base, it works!

Great vacuum, used in on carpet after using our old one and it picks up a lot more fine embedded dirt from carpet. The new roller is noticeable better in picking up dog hair or our carpets. The electrical cord is much longer than our other vacuum, we can reach the entire 1st floor by using just two outlets. Our other vacuum we had to use 4.

Extremely powerful. Does great job with Dog hair. We have three dogs and its the first vaccum that actually gets the hair off my couches. Slight learning curve with how to seperate all the parts but overrall easy to operate.

More suction power doesn't quite beat out traditional rollers(but no more cleaning rollers every week is a huge plus as i vacuum 2-3x a day) Pros. Tangle free sk far easy to clean cobwebs and baseboard/crevices. Easy to do stairs with Pretty decent cleaning power. No typical vacuum smell Easy to use Long cord Large holding tank Took maybe 5 mintues tops to assemble without using instructions. Cons. Price Doesn't clean our shag carpet quite as well as our shark navigator pet(but the difference isn't enough for us to be happy with the new upgrade, the old vaccume will still come out from time to time though, was hoping to give away the old vacuum) Heavier than expected, especially without the self propel option, but not unbearable. Still easy to use, just gives a little bit of a workout. People love the light, but i find it too dim to be useful. Cord and tool attachment locations are a pain and can make it a little difficult to reattach parts, but only a minor inconvenience. The handle hose is a bit on the short side, clould have easily been made a little longer. Not a fan of the fins vs the traditional rollers. Not self propelled. Even with all the cons, I still give it 4 stars, because they are minor cons. My navigator is 5 stars, but I still prefer this one even with a lower rating, because the new features make up for all the little very minor cons.

Works great, strong suction, and really easy to maneuver.

We purchased the Shark Stratos after our "other name brand" vacuum quit working. We are blown away by the performance difference! Despite vacuuming the whole house the previous day, our new Shark filled the entire debris bin in one use! The suction power that this device has is amazing and is great for pet hair (we have two cats and a dog). The added pet attachment works really well on upholstery. The unit is easy to empty and is lightweight for its size. We appreciate that there are different settings for different floor types! I'd highly recommend this to any pet owner looking for a quality vacuum!

WOW, I’m a long time Kirby fan and have had the same unit for 23 years. It recently broke down and I had to jump back into the Vacuum game and boy have things changed. I am absolutely impressed with the power of this thing and was surprised by the amount of fine dust particles this thing happens to find every time I run it! The features of this were impressive and super useful, while I do like to have the convenience of one thing that can do everything, even though I fixed up our old Kirby, we are keeping this unit because it is just too good. I’m very happy, so much so that after buying this we also purchased the Carpet cleaner which is also excellent. Great purchase and now it’s like I have a brand new sports car with this Shark Stratos and then an old fashioned t bird just under the cover in the garage. The Shark Stratos ease of use and features make it a great buy for our home anyway!

This model rocks. We have a older model that needed retirement. We have a large lab that should be bald and this unit really seams to be grabbing all the magical hairs that float around. It was bought as a present for my wife for Christmas (yes she requested it) and wow it really does its job. The downside is I haven't figured out tool placement yet maybe i need to look at the book better. I highly recommend this model especially if you have furry family it works on both hardwood floors and carpet. I haven't done our 2 flights of stairs yet and I'm thinking this may be a challenge as its a larger unit than our last but thats a minor inconvenience for me yes i do the vacuum work when i can. Definitely a 5 star product
