The Shark TurboBlade Cool + Heat tower fan is replacing an older tower fan that is also remote controlled but with less features. As its name implies, this bladeless tower fan provides cooling and hot air which makes it ideal to use year-round, regardless of the temperatures. After an easy set-up, it was up and running. It consists of a base with a control panel, a short air duct and a ‘head’, with the heater unit, where you connect a pair of fan blades. The strength of the TurboBlade Cool + Heat tower fan resides in its customizable airflow. First, the fan blades’ orientation can be adjusted vertically or horizontally, and every other angle in between, and then the fan blades themselves can pivot left or right independently. And on top of this, it can oscillate from 45 degrees up to 180 degrees. With its unique design, you would think that you could adjust the height but you can’t. In my opinion, it’s not a big deal since most tower fans don’t offer that option. With such customizable airflow options, I believe the height adjustment is not important and not needed. I quickly came to like this tower fan. It was easy to find the ideal airflow customization and the remote controls are complete and not difficult to master. Something small but significant is the remote control that magnetically attaches itself on top of the air duct; it makes it easy to keep in one place and avoid losing it. Also, the remote has a LED screen that indicates the fan speed and different modes. The first thing I did was to get rid of the chime that sounded with every button press. On cool mode, the speed can be adjusted manually or by using the Fan mode that offers 3 settings called Sleep, BreezeBoost and Natural Breeze. I particularly liked the latter as it simulated the ever changing airflow of natural wind. The manual adjustment has 10 speeds. The fan is mostly on the silent side. At higher speeds, it gets noisy but not as much as I expected; it sounds more like a central air than a traditional fan. The cooling winds can be comfortably felt at up to 7 to 8 feet away. Farther than that, even at maximum speed, the cooling effect is not really felt. As for the heating option, living in mostly hot and humid South Florida presents few occasions. However, we were lucky to have a couple days with temperatures in the low 50s at nighttime. It performed quite well and the Thermo IQ function that keeps the temperature to your desired setting. The heating component gets real hot and should be handled carefully especially around children and pets. With its sleek and compact design, the Shark TurboBlade Cool + Heat tower fan looks good everywhere. It’s well constructed with quality plastics, and its ultra customizable airflow and its cooling and heating capabilities can provide year-round comfort. It’s the most impressive tower fan I’ve come across so far.

I use this in a bathroom which is at the opposite end of the house from the furnace thermostat, so this bathroom does not stay a constant temp like the rest of the house. In summer, it is hotter and in winter, it is colder. With the fan blades in the vertical position, it fits perfectly in a small space. There is no room for it to swivel, so I leave it stationary. The vent directional blades in the heat portion (at the center) can change the flow direction, and I set them to straight ahead, but they could point up or down if you wish. The ends of the blades are cooling air fan discharge, and they are not adjustable up and down - only straight out. I did not attach the rather large base as shown in photos as there was not enough floor space for it. If you want it to swivel, I recommend attaching it, but since mine is stationary, it is not needed. I have not tested it to see if it has an auto shutoff if tipped, but since I only use it when in the bathroom, a tip over switch is a moot point. The heater brings up the room about 4 degrees in a couple of minutes, so it is fast and once it reaches the set point, it turns off. It also has a self-timer that is settable with the remote. Not much in the way of instructions, but it is intuitive enough for most folks to figure out. I did not see a place to register it with Shark, so not sure how to cash in on a warranty if needed. It appears to be well built like their other products, but this is my first Shark heater / cooling fan. An interesting design and can't wait for hotter weather to check out how well it cools this space.

Great fan and heater for a large room. It’s loud at max (kinda sounds like a mini jet engine) but that’s really the only time. I got it during a deep sale as this isn’t my normal Heater/Fan setup, however having the heat and less moving parts is nice.

Honestly amazing product. Has the convenience of being a duo product and great white noice for when the fan is on. The heater itself works great in the space I utilize. Easy to use and modern technology. Worth the price.

Like the style and the fan mode really blows. The only negative is the heater mode only blows air from the center of the fan and not all across both of the fins.Great price for the style and name brand.

I bought this heater/fan because we as already have one upstairs, but AI needed more heat in my basement due to a frozen pipe. This device is wonderful because you can adjust it so much to fit your needs and it did an excellent job of helping to heat up my basement. I loved the fact that you can even set a timer on it

Heats and cools room quick and very quite very nice fan

Works great warms up quickly and fan is nice to have which ever way. Only draw back it the temperature doesn’t seem always work right or is touchy

Works as expected. It would have been better if you can control via app and has schedule feature. But I got this even after knowing those features are not available. Used this for cold nights and keeps me warm.

I bought this for my wife for Valentines day. It is amazing, we sleep with a fan and I can feel this on my side of the bed. The heating option is also amazing, works very well!

Amazing fan. Great fan for your bed if your a hot sleeper. Was looking for cooling options for bed. Other bed cooling products/brands cost so much more. Also love it's more than that. You can use fan anywhere. Fan is very adjustable. The only flaw is no height adjustment. Bought a cheap adjustable stand from Amazon easy fix. Other than that love this fan.

Its a quite especially at night fan and the heat, heat the room.

I bought this item because the description said coverage was up to 1000 sq ft area and my heater went out. My house temp had dropped to 51 degrees and this heater helped bring the temp back up. I haven't used the cooling setting yet, but believe it will do a good job. I would have liked the heater fan to be stronger.

Works amazing. The air quality is nice. Blows hot and cold very good. Heats up a room or cools down a room fast. Would definitely recommend

The heater works great and pumps out a good amount of heat. Unfortunately, didn't work in our space but it was nice and toasty when we had it on. Never used the fan portion before it was returned.

Love this fan but I love using it in the winter as a heater even more. It heats my large living room up very easily.
