I set up the Shark TurboBlade bladeless tower fan in my sans ceiling fan living room, and the assembly was surprisingly easy. The box arrived with clear instructions, and within about 10 minutes, I had the fan assembled and standing tall. It’s got a sleek, modern look and the charcoal color to match my living room vibe. Once put together, I noticed the fan is a bit taller than I expected (around 4 feet at full height), yet it has a slim, modern profile. The small circular base doesn’t take up much floor space, so it fit nicely in the corner of my living room without dominating the area. The design of this fan is truly innovative with its bladeless construction and pivoting dual-vent setup. It has a sleek charcoal finish and a sturdy build that feels high-quality. Because it’s bladeless, it’s much safer for kids or pets – no exposed spinning blades – and it looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. One of my favorite features is how the fan’s top section pivots and twists: I can use it in a traditional vertical orientation (like a normal tower fan) or rotate the top horizontally to create what Shark calls an “Air Blanket” mode that spreads a wide, gentle airflow across the room. Each of the two fan vents can be angled independently, meaning I can point one vent one way and the other in another direction. This clever dual-vent design lets me cool every corner of my living room in a way I’ve never been able to with standard fans. In terms of performance, the TurboBlade absolutely lives up to its ultra-powerful claims. I can feel a comforting breeze from well across the room. In fact, Shark advertises that it can accelerate air up to 80 feet, and while my home isn’t that long, I do feel cool air in the next room when the fan is on full blast. The 180° oscillation is excellent: the fan smoothly sweeps side to side, covering my entire living room. I often set it to oscillate while the vents are twisted toward different areas, so it’s literally cooling multiple spots as it turns. Even with all this power, the fan is surprisingly quiet. At lower speeds, it’s nearly silent – perfect for watching TV or napping on the sofa. At higher speeds, there’s a steady whooshing sound (more like white noise than an annoying buzz), but it’s still quieter and less distracting than my old bladed fan was. Overall, it cools my space quickly and evenly without the choppy air feeling you get from traditional box fans. Overall, I’m pretty happy with the Shark TurboBlade. It’s got a premium price tag, but the power, quiet operation, and customization make it worth it for me. It’s a stylish, practical addition to my home, and I’d recommend it to anyone needing serious cooling with a modern twist, as long as you’re okay with a few quirks. Pros: - Incredibly powerful airflow that reaches across large spaces - Very quiet operation at low and medium settings, excellent for sleep and TV time - Highly adjustable direction with pivoting dual vents and 180° oscillation to cover every corner - Sleek, safe bladeless design with no exposed blades that’s easy to clean and looks stylish Cons: - Premium price point at $249 - Fairly tall design (almost 4 feet), so you'll need a bit of vertical space for it - No smart home integration or app control (remote works great, but techies might miss app/IoT capability) - Still produces some noise at maximum speed, but is fairly 'quiet' at lower speeds

I gave it four stars because I really thought it would be a bit taller and much more aggressive when it comes to moving the air around. I have a hi sitting bed so if it were a little taller I could cascade the air flow down over me. other than that it's a great fan Can be loud on higher settings.

Fan is great for the options it provides with air flow and changing direction/angle of blades. Very convenient. Unfortunately it’s just not as powerful as I had hoped even on 10. Had wanted to replace my large pedestal fan to make more room in main area, but just not powerful enough on these hot days. Have decided to keep it to put it over my bed for sleep though. Seems to be perfect for that. Might be ok for smaller rooms but for a large room not really.

    Remote does not work

Remote does not work. Set it all up and it works fine using the buttons on the fan. But when using the remote, it recognizes that a button is being pushed maybe once every 20 times. Thought maybe the batteries that came with it were bad. Replaced those, but same problem. Then thought I needed to be closer even though I was only 5 feet away. Even when right up against where it tells you to point the remote, same deal. Expected better quality controls on a $250 fan. Now I get to pack it all up and return it, or muddle through the customer service line with Shark to see what they can do. Not impressed.

I like this bladeless fan look. It definitely does not look like your usual blade fan design. It is large in size. I would consider this a tower fan. It does come with instructions for assembly and I found it very easy to put together. It also has a handle built in to carry the fan around to move it from room to room. There are 10 fan speeds to give you the exact air flow you would like. For oscillation, there are 3 settings: a 45, 90 and 180 degree range of movement from left to right. This fan has a timer in which there are 5 settings 1, 2, 4, 8, and 12 hours. While oscillating you may need to place it in an area where it can move around freely not hitting your walls or anything in its way, especially if you have the “blades” horizontal. What Shark calls “blades” are the part of the fan where the air comes out. The blade unit can be turned in a 360 degree circle. If you want the air flow concentrated to a certain area, you will need to turn the blade unit up and down. If you want the air flow in a more widened area, you will want the blade unit horizontal. The “blades” themselves can also be moved so that you can have one facing up a little and the other down a little to maximize the air flow better. I like that you can direct the air in specific directions so that you can focus on more than one area. This fan even comes with a remote (with batteries included) which does all of the different settings mentioned above and it even has a magnet to sit the remote on the fan base itself so you will always know where it is. I consider this a very nice feature. You can also use 3 different modes with the remote, which are Sleep, BreezeBoost and Natural Breeze modes. You can only adjust the blade unit and “blades” manually. I had no problem using the remote from about 20 feet away, which was rather nice. BreezeBoost mode is the highest setting you can set the fan and it can be a tad noisy, but it really does throw the air around the area. I recommend this fan because it is a lot safer than a blade fan if you have children around. In Natural Breeze mode, the fan will randomize the airflow to simulate a natural breeze. I felt like I was sitting on my front porch on a nice day with the breeze blowing toward me.

We own another less expensive Shark fan that is much more efficient at cooling our surroundings and is more easily transported and moved from one room to another. Also this item is much noisier. For these reason, we returned it promptly.

Without a doubt, this is the most powerful and at the same time, quiet fan that I have ever owned. A long time ago, I moved to bladeless fans like this one, observing the benefit of more silent operations, instead of turning paddles pushing air with speed, I love the idea of a complete air circulation creating air flows. Putting all my three models in line with different brands, I can see that this new Shark TurboBlade Fan is, without hesitation, the one that pushes the air the fader and deserves the ultra-powerful tag. Unboxing and minimum installation. Please note that the fan comes in a square box with basically three parts that need to be put together to become a “tower fan”. I see the smart design in this decision. otherwise, considering the size of the fan once totally assembled (it can go up to 6 feet), transportation probably will make it too bulky. As a consumer, in fact, this decision is not a big issue because the three components are assembled in no time and with super detailed instructions as easy as following A, B and later C. Quick start guide is clear and I saw videos in you tube also available. Once the tower was installed and all connected, I was attracted by the design. I recognize that breaks aesthetics of other traditional fans look more like a bar sound with a base. I had mixed feelings about how that would fit in with the big living round. However, after the first use, you can adapt your fan in multiple ways: vertical, horizontal, vents up, down, etc.. I notice that you can find a way to reduce the visual impact without sacrificing power. Also, moving the fan around the house, including installing it at the foot of my bed, I see that you don’t need to compromise with a single design, but so many are available with your fan. One paragraph to appreciate the remote control with batteries available with the unit. In fact, for a night operation or when cooling the big living room, having the control handy without operating directly with the central unit is a must. For winter times, you can store the remote on the back of the unit because it has a magnetic area to hold it. Finally, the functioning and the operations are also simple and intuitive. A single button on the base serves to turn on the unit and to increase the speed. Once you are at maximum speed, keep pushing the button will serve to reduce it. This looks quite basic, but in reality, it doesn’t affect the operation at all because once the unit is installed, all functioning is done directly from the remote. Without entering into the technical parts, note that the central unit pulls and the air is pushed out through the vents. The combination of the 10 fan speeds with the oscillating patterns and the angles that can be selected makes this unit great for all needs. If you feel overwhelmed by the choices, consider just using the preconfigured modes: Sleep, BreezeBoost, or Natural, This is a way of covering your needs without messing too much with the unit. One aspect that I appreciate is that the sleep mode dims the lights of the unit. Easy cleaning access in the base cleans the plastic filter from any dust that has accumulated over time. The last positive aspect, common in most of the Shark products, is the two-year guarantee. I always find an interesting indicator to see how much manufacturers are betting in the quality of their product. It's a great purchase option to cool big spaces and to control temperature without using air conditioning.

it’s loud sounds like an air plane because of the small air vents like air whistling through a crack . If you are a person that likes to be aware of your household at night you will not be able to hear anything that could be going on through out the house becuz it’s loud which will make you turn the tv up even louder which will make you even less aware of anything going on. Also, the remote is trash you literally have to press the button many times just to catch signal from the fan i constantly have to get up and walk closer to the fan just so the remote can work there is no range. My small Woozoo fan for $35 blows harder than this and have more range when using the remote. I’m a fair person and will only give my honest opinion if the remote didn’t suck i would gave it three stars like you can barely use the remote at all
