Quality product. Very happy with purchase. Everything I expected and more. Nice iron...heavier than my other shark iron. Gets very hot quickly, steam is very powerful. I was so impressed and happy that I spent the extra money to buy this model. I appreciate my purchase.

This iron replaced an older one that was in storage that was lighter and did not give near the finished weight for a nice press. This iron has a few plastic pieces, but the overall look, feel, and finished look is professional. I have used distilled water and there have been no water spots on anything I have ironed. It looks and feels durable. A family member saw it and noticed it immediately as a nice product well made.

It’s been a year since I purchased this iron and I haven’t had any issues with it. The self cleaning stuff is excellent and puts out a lot of steam.

I am 64 years old and I have owned many irons and quite frankly this iron is the best that I've ever purchased. I realize it's just an iron but the way it sets the way you put in the water the ease of selecting the right temperature the surface of the iron and the speed at which it heats up all are very good reasons for using this iron. I most certainly would recommend this to my friends.

One of the most powerful irons in its category, this iron performed as well as our previous iron. Which my husband was reluctant to give up. He was pleasently surprised with this iron. It heats fast and glides well. I haven't had to clean it yet, so I can't comment on that yet. I would recommend this iron to others wholeheartedly.

As far as irons go, this was THE best iron money could buy!! it does a great job on all kinds of fabrics. Heats up quickly, nice generous steam, nice healthy spray. I'm not a huge fan of ironing but if I have to iron, this makes the job easier. Clothes look professionally done. I should buy another one to keep as future back up.

I bought this as a backup iron after my Rowenta broke and didn't even get to use it when a friend fixed the Rowenta. I haven't used the Row yet as I am trying out the Shark. So far, great glide, quick heat. I'm having to get used to having to turn it on each time, rather that it being ready to go with a dip of the iron. Strong steam. The copper is attractive but the shine on it makes me think the iron is on. I really should read the instructions and that will help me understand this iron more. I truly think this is a great iron and a great value for the money. I have spent over 100$ per iron for 20 plus years. (Lots of kids in my house means lots of broken things, plus I use the iron not only for daily clothing, but also for sewing projects). I have been using it for.... a month ish. Glad I bought it.

This iron has is of a better quality than my previous iron. I have been using it for around a year now and it hasn't gotten any calcium build up unlike my old iron did. Though that may be because I try to use distilled water with it ever since I got it.

I have been purchasing the Shark irons for several years. They produce a lot of steam when you need it and they don't drip. The Ultimate/Professional a little heavier then my other irons, but hands down burst the steam out when needed. For the price you can't beat, even if you do purchase extended warranty, I would definitely recommend to a friend.

The Shark Ultimate is just that, ultimate. Normally I would say a iron is a iron. However, this piece of garment equipment does a fantastic job of getting the wrinkles out. I would caution that the steam gets HOT, be careful. You will enjoy the ease at which the wrinkles evaporate.

    Replacement for my old Rowenta

I had a Rowenta iron that went bad after 25 years. It was heavy and a real workhorse. I don't think they make them as well as they used to, so I gave the Shark iron a try. It's performing nicely and is lighter than my old Rowenta. It heats up quickly and has the same features including an auto-off which is very important. I mostly use it for ironing clothes on my ironing board, but there is the steam blast feature that would be good for hanging clothes or curtains. I've only had it a short while, but so far, so good. And the price was right.
