THE most POWERFUL vacuum I have ever used

Before this Shark, I've owned the Shark Professional and the Shark Navigator and neither even come close to comparing. I have also used my mom and sisters Dysons and the Vertex is the most powerful vacuum to date!! It may not be the lightest on the market but to me lightweight also means not powerful. There are 3 settings for the suction from strong, more strong and will suck the shirt off your body! The vertex leaves the most beautiful carpet lines if you care about that OCD quality like me! haha No hair gets caught underneath due to the new technology. The attachments are helpful and durable. I love this vacuum SO much, the only con is that I can afford to have one on each level of my house. If youre torn between this or the Dyson.. BUY THE VERTEX. Im a regular person, not paid for this review either.. Just love cleaning and my new shark!

I recently purchased a Shark vacuum, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance! This vacuum is powerful, lightweight, and does an excellent job on both carpets and hard floors. Pros: ✔ Strong Suction: Picks up dirt, pet hair, and debris effortlessly. ✔ Easy Maneuverability: Swivel steering makes it simple to navigate around furniture. ✔ Versatile: Works great on carpets, hardwood, and tile. ✔ Bagless & Easy to Empty: The dustbin is simple to remove and clean. ✔ Great for Pets: Picks up pet hair with ease, and the filters help reduce allergens. Cons: ➖ Cord Length: While manageable, a slightly longer cord would be nice.

Ordered a Hoover Maxlife Max in Jan 22. It's not a bad vacuum, but it seriously doesn't compare to this. Went over the same area rug with the Shark a day after I did with the Hoover and pulled 3x the amount of dog hair out as I did with the Hoover. Being able to use the wand without the canister attached allows me to vacuum under my bed and the stairs with so much more ease. It is light weight and nimble. It also has no issue with carpet or heights, or switching to hardwoods/bare floor. That is nice being that I have all 3 in my house. I'll leave it at this, it is as if I have never had a proper vacuum until I got this. Honestly can't say enough good things about it.

I am very pleased with my new Shark Vacuum. This is just what I was looking for to clean my hard wood floors. Instead of pushing the dust and dirt around this brush roll actually picks up everything. Before I got this vacuum, I had to sweep my floors and it seemed that no matter how much I swept the floors were still not clean. I was continually going back and sweeping again. Not anymore with this vacuum it's one and done. The suction is really good. I could tell a difference in the suction after cleaning a few times. It is very important to keep the filters clean, which is very easy. I cleaned mine with soap and water and it dries very quickly. I absolutely love the fact that I can reach under my bed and clean. This feature is something that I have never had in a vacuum. It is easy to hold the canister and operate the cleaning brushroll. The canister is a little heavy, but I knew this before buying. The release of the handle is very easy. You just push a button and pull the hose out and you can clean your baseboards, walls, furniture, and corners. Everything in this vacuum was what I was expecting. It is easy to operate. Another feature I like is that the power switch is on the handle. With this feature you have better control because the power switch and the level adjustments are at your fingertips. I am very pleased with this purchase. I would buy it again and I do recommend it to anyone who needs a good all-around vacuum. Especially someone with hard wood floors. The assembly was very quick and easy. The instructions are very simple and easy to follow.

I had no expectations for the Shark Vertex DuoClean Power Fin upright vacuum. Right out of the box it glides effortlessly across both carpet and hard floors, picking up dirt and debris with ease. The DuoClean technology is impressive, and the Power Fin feature really helps to deep clean my carpets. The transition between surfaces is seamless, and the vacuum's maneuverability is very easy. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with this vacuum's performance.

So far so good. Very impressed with the suction and versatility. The design is great for getting under couches and beds, and the hand tools work very well too. Very good and getting dog hair. Minor complaints so far: It seems considerably heavier than my last upright, so consider that if you're concerned about carrying it up and down stairs. Also, it's a little annoying that it comes with three tool attachments and only two spots to put them, so you always have an extra one to stash. The exhaust port is pointed in a way that it seems to be constantly blowing papers off shelves as I get near them. I guess that's a trade-off for the power.

Overall a Great Vacuum but it is Heavy

Overall, I am satisfied with the Shark Vertex DuoClean PowerFin Upright with Powered Lift-Away. I am a professional cleaner, and I've done a ton of research on vacuum cleaners. I want a Miele or Sabo canister vacuum (built to last, works well, not made in China), but this shark fits my budget, and they work well. The design of the Shark Vertex has all the features I need to clean a house efficiently and thoroughly. I've used this vacuum a couple of dozen times now, so I am getting a good feel for how it performs. I bought it during a Black Friday Sale, so I got it for about $250. It's worth this price, and I suppose I would still have paid $450 for it had I needed it when it wasn't on sale. Positive: The suction is powerful and seems to pull up debris deep in the carpet. I love the three suction options (carpet, hard floor, and high pile or area rugs). Putting the switch on the handle is very convenient. It is nice to be able to vacuum those smaller rugs that would otherwise get sucked up in the brush roll. The suction is very powerful when just using the wand, too. The powered lift-away design is awesome. It makes it so easy to do stairs or to walk around to do edges or hard-to-reach places. The Powered lift-away is a must in my profession. I can get under beds, tables, and furniture easily. I like the subtle colors. The power bush works awesome! The lights on the motor help me see in darker areas. It's very maneuverable. Negative: This vacuum is heavy. While the power button on the handle is very convenient, it is hard to push. Sharks are not built to last. If you take care of them, they might last for four years. If you use it every day like me, I wouldn't expect it to last more than a couple of years. Sharks are disposable vacuums; I would rather pay more for something that won't end up in the landfill so soon. I hope this review helps someone make a smart purchasing decision.

The vacuum was easy to assemble and not as heavy as I expected. It seems to have plenty of suction, and hair has not been getting stuck around the brushroll. The cord is an ample length. The dust cup is easy to empty. I prefer a canister vacuum, but they seem to be hard to find. The previous Shark that I owned had an option for purchasing a wheeled base that you could use to convert the upright into a canister, but I cannot find one for this model. The vacuum must be modified in order to be able to sweep under the bed, sofa, etc., which I am not fond of doing. It does not have an automatic cord winder.

Hands down the only vacuum to ever get. I did research for 3 months before deciding on this one. 3 cats, 2 dogs, 2 babies makes for a messy house. We have used it on tile, hard wood, lvp and carpet. It's life changing. We have a 4500 sqft house, the only regret i have is not having one for each floor of the house. Sure, go watch all the youtubes and tiktoks. I've already done that. Buy this one.

We bought this vacuum to replace our previous Shark that finally lost its battle with dog hair and frequent use. This is a big improvement over our previous model, which was excellent. The roller at the front of the vacuum picks up dirt, debris, and pet hair much closer to furniture than any vacuum we’ve had in the past. It has enormous suction and feels like it’s going to pull the carpet off the floor. The only downside, if there is one, is that this vacuum is heavy. Once the rollers / brushes start up it’s easier to maneuver but until then you really feel the heft of it. Outstanding vacuum cleaner!

This is a phenomenal vacuum, it picks up just about anything. But there are cons to it, over time (about a year) the prongs wore out connectimg to the head of the vacuum but was fairly cheap. The other con of mine is that you cant take the head apart to clean it thoroughly and if you do take it apart it is a process needless to say. Im also noticing the fins are starting to wear down on the large roller a decent amount (about 1/2 of what they used to be) and the cost of the whole head is pretty expensive. But overall its a great vacuum, the suction is just as strong as it was the day we purchased.

This vacuum is amazing. We have been using a Dyson ball animal for 10 years. It always smelled like it was burning so we replaced it. Hooked up this Shark and did a once over on the carpet. It was so gross. It is like the Dyson was not sucking up anything. The carpet looked so much cleaner and the Shark got up so much dust and hair. The only down fall, is that it is a lot more heavy. Wife is only 110 lbs and it hurts her shoulder after vacuuming the house.

I can't say enough good things about this vacuum! The suction power is absolutely incredible! I did a little experiment and let my Roomba vacuum my whole house. Then I vacuumed immediately after with my new Shark - Vertex DuoClean PowerFin and I was amazed at how much more dirt, dust and dog hair came out of my carpets! It is also excellent at cleaning hard tile as well. I love how you can set the vacuum to high pile, low pile or hard floors. This was the best vacuum I've ever owned, this beats out Dyson by far!!!

Wow, where do i begin... First off, Im a single father rasing two highly active preteen rascal boys along with rescue cats that have shown up at my door over tge years. The boys nature is to consume and destroy so there is a lot of mess along their paths of destruction and obviously there is plenty of cat hair. Ive always used Bissell or Hoover vacuums, I think Ive gone through one of each in the last 12yrs and they were the $70-90 models. The vacuums sucked up the food crumbs, dust, dirt and removed the cat hair I seen so on the surface things looked fine and I was satisfied. They did what I required of them and they fit my budget. I recently ordered some high end carpet to replace whats left of the 15yr entry level I bought when the boys were infants/toddlers. After watching the carpet wear away from cleaning and traffic I learned that the life of a carpet might be rated as such but add growing kids to the mix and 15yr becomes 8-10 if your lucky. Anyways, I knew that I needed to do my research on my quality of carpet, pad etc but I also know that how you clean your carpet and what you clean it with factors into its life, so began the vacuum research. I was diligent and thorough which was like torture cause I was fine with the low end appliances I used before but I need to protect my investment best I can. It basically came down to Dyson and Shark. Everything else wasnt even close to their level with the vacuum lineups. The warranty is what closed the deal between the two. Initially i wanted to get a cheaper model but the suction performance of this model was the elite, the ability to convert and use powered rollers was great and the powered pet hair attachment was just icing on the cake. I think i had the vacuum in my cart for like 2 days before i dropped the coin on it. As a guy i didnt care about the money but using almost 500 on a vacuum cleaner... Honestly it was the most depressing purchase ive ever made. I was not excited to have spent that much on a stupid carpet cleaner and when it came i just left the box sit like an unwanted guest in the front room. I was certain i bought the very best at my budget but i still didnt like having done so. I sulked for a day and finally opened it today... WOW!!!!! This thing is awesome! The suction is ridiculous. I knew it was rated high but dang! This thing was almost impossible to move when set to bare floor on carpet. Felt like a dog holding on to a toy hes keeping from you. Once i figured out the buttons settings and used it propely it became a well trained pup gently leading me on the walk because it knows the way and is well behaved. It felt self propelled with that duo setup. Its so smooth with the rollers and direction control from the wrist and the LED head light is like cruising around in a new car. I was like ok then...im liking this, what else can it do... So much fine cat hair that must have been ground in the old carpet and rug came out. It kooked like olf angel hair and there was a lot. I started messing with the attachments and configuration options and began to appreciate the models design and color scheme along the way. Its classy for a sweeper. The powered pet hair attachment is nuts! Its like a garage power tool. Its great. Both the powered features are. They do exactly as advertised but better. The vacuum was a great buy! Im well past satisfied. I started to get into looking for what else i could clean with it because its just that good! After i got settled down about an hr later i could feel the rug like i hadnt in years along with whatever life it could salvage out of the old carpet. What really caught me by surprise was the way i could breath and feel the air freshness. That cat hair that was compacted in the carpet and rug was really bad and i wasnt aware of it. Look, if your are coming from the cheap seats like i was and can afford this then dont hesitate because its worth it. Its hard to explain the difference its just something yiu have to feel and experience to get it if you havbt been at this price point before.

First impression is very good. I had a Shark Navigator Liftaway from 2012 before this one, but needed an upgrade. We have mostly hard floors with a couple area rugs, and this vacuum is making a huge difference compared to our old shark. I love that the dust and crevice tools are on the base now, so they won't be falling off mid-vacuum. The cord is a lot longer than the older models, too. A huge plus. I love the adjustable speed/power for different surface types, it makes cleaning a breeze. So far, I'm happy with the new vacuum and hope it continues to perform above my expectations.

These are the best vacuums! Get it over a dyson if you have pets! The ability to release the cannister to go under furniture makes it as versatile as a cordless and the drive motor makes it super easy to clean carpet! It gets much deeper into carpet than our previous shark did and we loved that vacuum as well! It comes with a pet brush wand attachment that also has the powerfins and it does wonders!

I was originally looking for a vacuum stick, I needed something lightweight, good suction and that could vacuum my floors, I went on and got the shark pet plus, well it sucked! Suction was very weak, it cleaned but not worth 250 in my opinion. So I went on to exchange. I did so digging and I ran into this one, yes it’s wired but I read battery dies easily on those stick wireless ones, while I wanted lightweight I need something powerful. I have kids and I’m always cleaning so I wanted something worth my money. Got this on sale, next day went back to regular price. I LOVE LOVE LOVE. It’s not the lightest in weight…. but the suction is amazing! And it kinda just glides, and works on all floors. You can also detach the canister and use it as a stick for like tighter places. I am very pleased. I’m more traditional so I think wired is what works best for me. I can clean my entire house without needed to take a break to recharge.
