Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.disappointed that i hadn't thought to check all particulars before purchase. for example, the clock is a 12-hour display ; no 24-hour or a.m. / p.m. setting possible. otherwise, the unit is very nice. i only wish it could have been unboxed and set on the counter, as best buy' sales rep had assured me it would. ( my left arm & hand are semi-paralised, so [ of course ] i dropped the thing, causing slight damage to the housing. would like to get this fixed. )

The new one looks good and works fine and has improved controls but is much noisier.

It is smaller than the older unit and more compact, allowing a little more counter space. Super easy to use - both with the quick minutes just by pressing the numbers and the kitchen timer. The inner glass tray rotates and it's much quieter than the older unit. Easy to wipe down and keep clean. Perfect replacement and a perfect price. Thank you!
