Very happy with my new Sharp Microwave

Salesperson was very helpful with my purchase and even loaded it into my car. Have had it for a month and working great. I like the grey interior vs. the white of my old microwave which only lasted a year before the paint began bubbling and peeling.

It has a child proof lock the door won’t open unless you press zero but was disable safety feature other than that excellent microwave

My old microwave was also a Sharp and it lasted ten years. I've had no issues with it. The only things I'm not crazy about are the bright clock light and the dim heating light inside when cooking.

Defrosted a slice of blueberry pie, it did defrost but the result was uneven, some portions were still icy while others were warm. Maybe it ws due to the uneven thickness of the slice. My previous Sharp microwave worked well for 20 years.

One excellent feature is that it does NOT continuously beep at you when something is done. It beeps once and then shuts up.

It was an old one, probably one of the first to come out. We wore it out over the years. This one is a little difficult to understand at first, especially if your elderly. Once you do, you'll be glad you bought it. It's great. You can't beat Sharp products!

She has sight issues. Our salesperson directed us to this microwave because it has large numbers and is easy to use. Mom likes her microwave a lot!

So handy when full minutes are either too "short" or "too long" and often requires personal "monitoring". 2) The dark interior...can't see food splatters to wipe away. Helen G. --- 7/19/2025
