We. Don't have any children, but it makes for a safe product.

I was heating up some cooked vegetables and the microwave started smoking and had a strong burn smell. The light also flickers and the microwave goes off and on, likes it is losing power. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MICROWAVE - I thought Sharp was supposed to be a descent brand.
