Bought unit January 25. Tried to return unit Feb 17 due to defective turnable motor. 3 WEEKS. Sharp customer service said it should be replaced, not fixed but geek squad protection thought they would need to take it and diagnose which would take another 3 weeks and it was thier decision to replace or repair. I am fed up.

Working fine so far but I doubt it lasts as long as the one it replaces.

Started smoking after one month. A light flashed at the top right corner and it started smoking after 25 seconds. I can't returm or exchange it because I don't pay extra for the privelage of a normal return window. Only way to deal with it is through the manufacturer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It's a little weak with only 1100w but works well, just takes a little longer to get a potato cooked.

The platter very easily skips off the drive unit.

Quit two weeks after warranty ran out

It worked great for a little over a year. Of course, the warranty runs out in 12 months, so it stopped heating 12 months and 2 weeks after I bought it. Too expensive to be an annual purchase!! SO frustrating!

Wire and I are retired. This microwave is the perfect size. It operates great. Plenty of options. Perhaps most important, wife keeps thanking me for getting this for her.
