The player will randomly play different tracks on the same CD until it has played all tracks. Then it will move on to the next CD.

Posted .Hello, using the random play feature, you are able to play tracks from your discs in random order automatically. This means the unit will random play songs on an individual CD until all songs have been played on that disc. Once all songs are completed on that specific disc, it will move on to the next CD tray and random play songs from the disc in that tray. The unit will not shuffle from CD to CD.
Lovely Sound

I'm a diehard Sony fan, but couldn't find a five - disc changing Sony, so I took a chance, and LOVE this one. It has all the fancy modern bells and whistles, but I just use it the old-fashioned way and put in CDs. It's awesome.

You'd think it would be a little more user friendly and straight forward, but it is a sharp... sounds pretty good, and does the basics. So I like it.

It's very cute....when I walk into the room, it's start flashing and talking to me......it wants to pair with my smart phone, or do something for me. Enjoying this sound system very much.

The system has good quality sound in my opinion and at this time I am happy with it.
