    Bought this for my mother to replace an old worn out system she had. Had it shipped to her apt. Wish the speaker connections were little bit longer to reach system while on her cabinet. Also-no battery for the remote. Prepaid label to return if defective is a joke-not prepaid at all. So if it craps out real soon, will just toss it in the dumpster and never buy from you folks again.

    We were looking for a small stereo to fit inside a cabinet my husband build with a depth of 12.5". This Sharp model CDBH950 description says 8.7" for depth but it's actually 13.5" deep. Never used it but chose it because of good reviews and size. Returning it and made them aware of the error under specifications.

    Don't buy

    Don't buy it the am fm radio fails to get any reception at all tried it with different antennas and nothing sound is ot great either I would like to return it to the store and get what I paid for only another brand not worth the price or hassle

    Huge disappointment

    I set out to purchase a stereo system that would allow me to listen to cd's on a headset via bluetooth. I was told by the Best Buy employee that this system would accomplish this. He was wrong. I cannot pair the bluetooth on this system with headphones. I can pair it with other devices to play music from those devices through the system. But the system will not play cd's from its cd mode on a separate device. So the system did not do what I was it would do. To make it even worse, the 5 disc cd player is junk. I have cd's in all 5 slots, but when I try to play slots 2 or 3 it says "no cd" and skips to the next disc. The sound is good, when I can get it to actually play a cd. All I can say is, buyer beware.

    HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! DON'T KNOW HOW TO UPLOAD PIC

    I may have to return this unit because the clock doesn't remain on. How can I see the time during the night? Once the system is off, the screen is Black. There's not light no where. What was Sharp thinking?

      Hello, once the clock has been set, in order to confirm the time you will need to press the clock button in which the time will appear for about 5 seconds. Once the unit is off, then the time will not be displayed. Please accept our sincerest apologies for this icnonvenience. Sharp

    DOA...CD player doesn't play CDs

    I bought this system for the multi CD player...well, it didn't even play one! I kept getting a "no disc" error. I used MP3 and store bought CDs and nothing. The cassette player works, but I only have one cassette and it's from circa 1980. I took this to the store the next day and bought a soundbar instead.

    I purchased this unit in April of last year, and it has never worked properly. Unfortunately, I purchased it just before going on vacation and missed the return window. I contacted Sharp, and they gave me contact information for a repair facility that doesn’t exist. I located an authorized repair facility and took it there. At this point it has been in for repair for six weeks with no repair in sight. All in all, this is one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made.

    sound fair, CD player defective

    Good bass sound but overall sound quality fair, slightly tinny, not rich. Then the CD player didn't play. It kept saying "no disc" when all 5 slots were full.

    Second time it finally worked.
