Bought this for my husband's Man Cave! He loves it. The sound is terrific. Great deal!

It plays CDs. It is SO LOUD when it turns on, turns off, and changes CDs--I've never owned a CD changer that was this loud. If you use the "sleep" setting, the music plays for as long as you set it, then it stops playing and the player makes SO MUCH NOISE shutting off that it wakes you up. You are also limited to how long sleep setting will play. It plays cassette tapes, too. But it does not even have "auto reverse", so if you want to hear a cassette, you have to get up & flip the tape every 25-30 minutes. Auto reverse is OLD technology and SHOULD be incorporated into this unit. The remote works very well, but some controls are ONLY on the remote, so if you are standing in front of the machine you can't adjust some things unless you are holding the remote.

THE SYSTEM WORKS AS ADVERTISED. THE INSTRUCTION ARE A LITTLE HARD TO UNDERSTAND AND YOU HAVE TO DO TRIAL AND ERROR. HAS GOOD SOUND AND PERFORMS WELL.

I like the sound of this stereo but there are many important drawbacks. I bought this mini-shelf system to replace the Sony three disc changed mini-shelf system I had. Unlike my Sony system there is no way for this 5 cd system to play tracks randomly between discs. What I mean is if I would like the Sharp system to play one random track from Disc 3 and then one random track from Disc 1, and then one random track from Disc 5, it WILL NOT do this! It will only play random tracks from Disc 1, then random tracks on Disc 2, and then random tracks on Disc 3, etc. (My Sony 3 CD changer did do this type of random play which I really love.) I think the discs are always played in the same numerical sequence like Disc 3 will always follow Disc 2. The remote control does not seem to work well. I get very frustrated with the buttons on the remote. It also seems that the CD drawers are not well made and they could break at any moment. I haven't spent much time using the cassette deck or radio yet Overall, I am quite disappointed with my purchase.

Generally good but found that in spite of following directions I couldn’t get much power to the turntable. Sound is good on cd’s and tapes. Could use a better antenna for fm

I was looking for a small stereo system that could play my old cassettes and be able to load multiple CDs. The helpful saleperson indicated this unit, which was also open box (so I saved more money there). I've been very pleased with the quality of the sound; it's perfect for my apartment living room. It's also fun to have the remote control, so I can switch from NPR to a CD easily.

Sharp has done it again! They've put together a compact 3 piece quality sound system that once you turn it on....WATCH OUT!! The sound will blow you away! It has a Bluetooth, USB, 6 Preset channels, 5 CD drawer, etc...everything you'd expect in a high dollar piece of equipment! But, it's reasonably priced. Perfect for the bedroom. Best purchase I've made in awhile!

This system seems to be a very good portable stereo system. It has good sound and pretty good bass. It is a great space saver for shelf-use and is nice looking.

I rated this 5 stars because a stereo for the price - under $200 - what I expected. It easily paired with my phone. The FM tuner is good...I hope to connect it as recommended for better reception, but it is fine for now. The cassette functions fine. The CD player has me a little perplexed as I have read the owner's manual and I am having a hard time getting it to do any of the various functions. But it does work and I have been able to get it to do Random a couple of times. I haven't had time to really check out all of the functions. The sound is good for 240 watts and is just right for some background music in the living room when I have guests over. It was easy to set up...which was a plus. I would make this purchase again.

The delivery was before the date estimated. The unit has good sound quality, however it is larger than I expected. It was easy to set up. Overall I would say it is a good value.

I am enjoying my product except it won’t stay turned off! That is the only problem other than that I am satisfied this is my second CD Player .

This 'mini' system is great ! Easy to install and not too confusing to use. Replaces an older system with wires everywhere...the sound is amazing and I am able to play all my music sources. I am so happy that I found this !

I haven't had it that long so don't know how long it will last, so far so good. Great sound for a small stereo, kind of confusing how to run it all, basically I just wanted it for the CD player.

I have problem seeing the markings on the tower. maybe using another color or deeper color will help. i need to use a flashlight in order to see the letters and numbers. thank you
