It appears that if you want to get Internet access at all you need to activate Roku, even to access Hulu or other premium providers. It works fine with our cable box, but it doesn't remember your input source so every time you turn it on you have to use the TV remote to select the input source, not a fan of needing two remotes. The picture quality is actually quite good and the sound quality is acceptable. Overall this is an OK TV but be aware that it is really a Rokui TV and not a TV with Roku capability.

Good quality picture, Only thing we do not like is the ROKU etc which keeps trying to come on but since we do not use the TV to watch TV those aps are superfluous.

Tried to return it but I missed the dates by a couple of days due to business travel. I called Samsung and they were no help. I went elsewhere to purchase a Sanyo BR player. It is great. BB and Samsung are awful.

However, I have had issues with the tv turning itself off or seeming to reboot itself for no reason. Checked to make sure I had the latest version of software which I did upgrade and waiting to see if it happens again.
