I bought the tv for 179.99 and I’m happy about the purchase, sound is pretty decent for a led tv, picture quality is good, remote is not great but hey at least it’s got a sleep button which is always nice. Just wish the volume buttons aren’t crazy small. If you’re looking for sub 200 40 inch I gotta say it’s a good tv.

We needed two sets for a bedroom and den and we’ve been pleasantly surprised by the quality of this set. We chose this particularly for the lack of smart features as our Blu-ray player and PS4 unit has them installed. The tv is extremely light and easy to carry from room to room and the assembly and setup were a breeze. The only think worth mentioning is that during the syncing with our Directv receiver to the tv, we were unable to program our universal remote control. We were told by Drectv tech support that since the tv is so new that they do not have the program codes for our model yet, but to check back in a month when there tv codes lists are updated. We just have to use the remote that came with the tv to adjust the volume. It’s a minor inconvenience but temporary and no biggy.

Using this TV as a security camera monitor. It has been on 24 hours a day for over 4 years, and has not complained once. For the price, I cannot believe how long it has lasted without any issues. It has gone through multiple power outages, running on generator power, and a tornado that caused rapid power fluctuations as it tore through power lines and the TV is still going strong.

I enjoy watching the TV in full screen HD. The picture has good color. Easy channel changing. Very lightweight and easy to install.

Now a days you really don't need a "Smart TV" so why pay for it ,attach a Roku,or Fire TV for 20-30 dollars Done ! This TV was bought on sale ,installed in my office with a wall bracket "amazon" super inexpensive, picture quality 1080p bought for under 160.00 amazing deal. totally recommend ,good quality,great price.

We bought this as an emergency replacement for our old, smaller TV that had a burned-in screen (a Westinghouse). We thought for the price it wouldn't be very good, but it sounds good, looks good, and is a good size for our smallish living room. The setup menu is somewhat clunky and the remote isn't the best setup w/ buttons, but otherwise a fantastic buy. Especially happy that is is not a smart TV.

I was hesitant on this buy but did it cause it was a good price for size. The salesman also said it had the same panel as the fire edition and while this was not on display, that one was. It looked great and trusted him. I don't know if it as good. However, I can tell you, this has a great picture if the source is good. I got a fire stick and chromecast. When casting/firestick, it looks great. It also has usb that will play mp4 movies. I put a hd mp4 vid on a usb stick and looks amazing. Very happy with this TV. Hopefully it last many years. Oh and sound, its very decent for small/average rooms.

Very light weight. Easy to put on the feet. Good quality picture. 3 HDMI ports.

This item was purchased as a Christmas present and I can say that she was very happy with the TV. Setup was supper easy out of the box. Took me longer to connect the feet as she did not want the TV hung on the wall. After setup, I connected a amazon fire stick and she was watching her movies in about 15 mins. The picture is really good, better than some of the more expensive brands. The sound is kinda bland, not a good mix, but I expect that from these types of TV’s. Overall, I would purchase this TV again. Great price for the quality of the product.

So far, tv has been great. The color and size is great for a medium size living room. Don't know about sound quality. I immediately hooked it up to my stereo speakers for surround sound. For the price ($149), Cyber Monday Sale, I am not complaining. The only negative I have is that it is marketed as 1080p. When in actuality, it is 1080i. Slight difference. Thankfully, I have no regrets. Was able to connect vcr (old school) and dvd player to tv in addition to speakers. If you are looking for a good television at an affordable price, this is it!

TV was a surprisingly great product. Satisfied our needs in every way, picture outstanding color brilliant and bright. Easy to hookup and made it easy to play Fire Stick on it. Best TV for price.

I purchased this TV for my Godchild for Christmas and he loves it. The picture is great and it was easy to set up. He loves playing games on his new 40" TV. I'd say it was a great buy!

This replaces a 32" smart Vizio which replaced a failing smart Insignia in another room. The color and contrast required very little tweaking out of the box and the pq compares favorably to a 2 yr old LG 4k which I like very much. It's nice to have and use the component rca inputs which seem to be one of the legacy ports disappearing on recent TVs. Could have used rca audio outs which I use in addition to the digital spdif (toslink) output. Made do with the headphone 3.5 mm jack which sometimes introduce a transient "pop" during shutdown through the amp I use for the front speakers.

No frills HDTV, but gets the job done. Picture is very good, inputs are adequate. Only gripe is that 3.5mm jack is 1:1 with TV volume, so it's not meant for external speakers. You'll want to use optical port.

Very lightweight. Picture is awesome on this thing. Very sharp for 1080p. (no pun intended) Definitely worth the price.

Unlike the bigger TVs, it is not easy finding a smaller TV with a good refresh rate in full HD by a decent brand name. I had find something to work in a small space and wanted the most TV I could get at a fair price. Also, needed powerful speakers since a soundbar is not an option. Well, thanks to BB's comparison tool, this was the winner TV. Happy with the picture, the sound, and the TV's options!

I bought this TV on Black Friday. It looks great and has been reliable and easy to use. I have pretty basic viewing needs... blu ray, Roku, cable... Recommended.

I thought about getting a smart TV, but I decided I didn't want to upgrade and have to worry about doing updates all the time. Living on a fixed income I didn't want the temptation to pay another outlet for programming. I did want to get a larger screen so this was my choice. I have had 2 Sharp Aquas for 11 yrs with no problems. I wanted to keep with that brand of quality.
