Okay, the on-screen options are limited such as programme guide and info but the display is very good. I only use it on an antenna but it certainly does the trick. Very happy.

Great inexpensive TV for teenager's bedroom

It's not a smart TV but we already had an Xbox one to make it "smart" so it's exactly what we needed. Great picture, sound is fine alone but we ran it through an av system with some bookshelf speakers. Picture is fantastic and 1080p is all we need for a 40". SO much better than the old small TV the kids had before. The gaming system works great too, no problems with refresh rate either...

Perfect! This TV was just what I needed!

So my husband decided I needed a new one. I automatically went to Best Buy and found the Best Deal. This 40" Sharp totally fit the bill and the armoire! The picture is really good for my aging eyes, and the sound is just fine when I play music channels. If you're looking for a simple TV, I do recommend it.
