    I love Sharp Roku TV's this is the fourth I've purchased in the last year...the latest was this 40'...prior was a 50' a 32' and a 24'...very happy with all....The one very very minor issue I have, that I have overcome with time and use is that the remote and buttons are very small so it took time to learn the button positioning for easy use.....

    Easy to set up, Roku gives it nice clean menu screen for fast access to all my apps. So far only gripe I have is weak screen mirroring. Plays movies then disconnects every now and then but it might just be wifi connectivity. I found roku cast app to see if that helps. Tvs got a lot of HDMI ports Component ports and Usb port Dose everything I need and dose it well.

    Was planning on buying a 43" screen TV but there were out of my budget. I saw this Sharp 40" on sale and decided to buy it. Easy to operate and navigate all the programs; Roku, Netflix, etc. My first experience with a smart TV and I really love it. Great sharp colors and picture, and it's the perfect size for my living room. This was a super buy.

    Overall this is a great little TV. Picture quality is great for the price point. It's not a 4k TV but still yields an excellent picture. Much, much better than the Vizio 40" I purchased 2 weeks ago. I'm no fan of the Roku platform, but I bought this for my son and he does'nt have an issue with it. It has plenty of input options, except for an ethernet port.

    I purchased an open box TV to replace a bedroom unit that died. I ordered on line and picked it up at the local Best Buy the next day.Although it was an open box sale it was boxed in it's original box and came with all the manuals and paperwork. We are using it as an antenna TV only and it has an absolutely gorgeous picture. Could not be happier with my purchase.

    Nice TV with builtin Roku. TV uses a Roku remote with volume and power buttons. TV display content (Netflix, DirectTV Now, etc) very well and in good quality. Only issue I have had so far is TV needs to be restarted after extended viewing (10+ hours) or it will start to switch apps and start streams slowly. Would recommend for the normal TV viewer.

    We got this TV for a great price on New Years Eve. It was very easy to hook up- even for us non-techies! We love the easy access to Smart TV features- Hulu, Netflix, etc right at your fingertips. The only issue I’d say is the speakers aren’t the best quality- we often have to have it cranked in order to hear well. I guess they want us to purchase a sound bar!

    This product lasted me about 1 week before it started freezing on its own, picture started to move a lot slower than words, tv mutes itself on its own, I’ll press the volume Chanel or back button and it won’t pop up on the screen until 10-15 seconds later. It’s literally like it has a virus. This product was complete garbage.

    You can not connect a bluetooth soundbar to this tv, unless you purchase Roku bluetooth speakers. It is capable of connecting to any bluetooth speaker, just simply not allowed until you purchase the ones from Roku. I will be returning this tv,l as I find that type of marketing reprehensible.

      Hi,

      We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the TV. This Roku TV does not have built-in Bluetooth. The Bluetooth pairing option you see in the Roku TV menu allows you to pair a Bluetooth audio source (like a mobile phone) to Roku speakers (which have Bluetooth), but only when these speakers are paired with the TV.

      The best way to connect a sound bar to the Roku TV is to use the HDMI-ARC connection or the S/PDIF optional connection which are both supported by the TV.

    We purchased this TV due to the depth being smaller than most TVs we came across. It's less than 8" deep whereas most TVs with stands were over 8". It ended up working great and fits on our mantle. The Roku smart TV was a plus, as we were already used to the Roku interface. The quality and picture is good for the price. Overall I'd recommend it.

    I bought this tv for my wife. She absolutely loves it. I was hesitant at first because of the negative reviews but quickly found that they were unfounded. I normally take heed to the negative reviews before I make any purchase but the ones for this tv were not consistent with the performance we are receiving.

    I actually really love this TV for a bedroom TV. super easy to access the apps (youtube, Netflix, hbo now, Pandora). I didn't want to have to get another cable box upstairs and with this I have more than enough. I also purchased a wall mount and it was super easy to hang as well! picture quality was great as well.

    The 40 inch , Roku, smart tv is nice. It has a clear picture. The colors are beautiful and bright. It also has nice sound. The price was nice although it was cheaper the next week due to the Black Friday Week sale. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. I plan to purchase another one during the Cyber Week sale.

    Excellent TV. Picture is very clear. Easy to set up. Access to basic Apps occurs through Roku remote. You will need to open a Roku account to use the Apps function but it was easy and free. (You do have to provide a credit card but you are only billed if you use the account for it’s paid content).

    I love this TV. I bought It because it was a great price and I needed a larger tv for the bedroom. I was not disappointed. Very light and easy to set up. It practically set itself up. Great picture without too much fine tuning. Sound with the Roku tv leaves a little to be desired but again for the price and where I was putting it, it was perfect.

    I bought this TV for my daughter, a Jr. In college to replace the 32" Dynex I bought in 2010 (I didn't think it was that old but a solid TV nonthelessU because it didn't have the needed adapter for her to get the free cable in her apt building. This Smart TV was perfect for her. She's not a gamer, nor does she watch sports so 40" was sufficient.

    The specs were good for its original purpose. I thought this would be good for its purpose. However, I could not get this tv to hook up to the internet. I returned it to Best Buy without any problem. Got a different brand tv. It hooked up without any problem and has worked just fine. I hope this was just an aberration on the particular tv I had.

    Bought this tv as a Christmas gift for my mother. She loves it and I would also say it’s pretty great. I set the tv up for her, connected to Netflix, Hulu, etc. The feature I liked best for her is the roku tv, I was able to connect her to my xfinity account and she can watch everything that I have recorded.

    The set was quickly delivered - I ordered two, one was damaged on the way, once I found out how to contact customer service, they were great, sent me a new one and instructions on how to return at their cost! The tv does everything you expect from a smart tv, and the picture and sound are both crisp and clear.
