Remote Sensor Defective

Remote would not pair correctly with the TV. Talked to Sharp tech support, only option was to return. He suggested that the remote sensor on the TV was defective. I have a beautiful Sharp 70-inch TV with no issues. Defects happen and Best Buy refunded the purchase.
