TV uses the Roku controller and does not have a coaxial cable slot. Most cable provider s require a box these days. I am pleased with quality of design and picture.

I do love this tv, sharp picture, good sound but have a sonos to go with and 2 play ones and WOW. It has the atmos and when a movie has that capability, so do I and what a difference. It's fun to play aroung with, with all the apps. You can't go wrong and the price is right
