Tv is ok but the remote stopped working suddenly without being dropped or damaged, the tv & remote are only 3 months old. The tv works fine but the remote is awful. The buttons (the left, right, up & down buttons) are rubber and deeply inset/flat, making a connection when pressing the button has been a nightmare therefore sending a signal to the tv has been awful, lots of delay. It's not a battery issue, already tried that among other things, it's not sending a signal to the tv, no IR signal, checked it. It's an IR remote and not wifi. I also have a Roku box on my other tv but the remote on that one has higher raised hard plastic buttons & it still works fine after being almost 5 yrs old. They need to change the buttons on this remote. I now have to find a replacement remote & for the time being we're using the Roku app on a tablet to navigate around the channels-not very convenient. The tv sometimes resets itself after freezing, which sometimes happens with Roku but my Roku box rarely did this, the Roku tv does it often, lots of freezing up. The screen is very bright despite the specs stating that it doesn't have a particular technology that displays bright whites (it's VERY bright & I'm impressed by it). I hooked up a pair of Logitech THX speakers with a large woofer (also purchased at best buy, cheap but carry a great sound) to the tv since the speakers on the tv are basic & lousy, it makes a HUGE difference, sounds like I'm at a movie theater, it's honestly awesome, you should be able to find these speakers on the best buy website (forget the odel # but it's Logitech THX with a large black square woofer & two smaller speakers) they were somewhere between $80-$100 don't remember the price. I took off one star for that darn remote, Roku or Sharp or whoever is responsible for the design HAS to change those buttons from flat inset rubber to higher raised hard plastic or whatever it is the older wifi Roku remote buttons were made of, those rubber buttons will NOT last very long-not a joke. Aside from that everything is fine so far.

My hearing is good. The volume on the TV is a little low.

It was a wedding present for a close relative that thanks me every time he sees me.

This TV works just fine, very easy to setup and the image quality is very acceptable.

If I would have know this tv was garbage I would not have purchased this brand. I was very disappointed and upset it stop working only two years old. I have never experienced that. Very disappointed.
