I pretty much always buy Sony TV's, I always love the picture quality. Well, I decided today to buy and try this 43" Sharp TV, because of the great price. I bought it today. I'm really impressed with the picture quality, for the price.....Extremely happy with it.

Picture quality for this 1080 hd tv is very good overall with both color and clarity. Cable operation seems to work very smoothly with no issues so far... ROKU response however is often slow with noticeable delays loading programs and often gets caught up in a loop that may require hitting the home button to escape and then have to start all over again... For the price however it's hard to really pick apart this product unless you want to spend the extra $$ on a more sophistocated product. NOTE: I also had a 4K 55" tv (that unfortunately I had to return because the size was too big for our room) and so I'm unfairly comparing some stark differences between both tv's even though prices were quite different...

Everything works perfectly with this TV and the setup for wifi network, leaf antennae channels, streaming channels, screen casting from your laptop or tablet, it is all very very easy. Built in Roku is great. Excellent value for the price.

Picture and sound are amazing. Volume ranges from zero to one hundred and I can comfortably keep it below ten. Sometimes there's a slight lag when switching between apps or adjusting the volume during a program but it streams without interruption.

Got this unit on sale for $300, unless the unit is defective, you really can't go wrong. Other TV's in this size and price range are 40" units from TCL or Hisense and cost with $10-20. The Vizio is comparably priced, but their UI is horrible compared to the Roku. Unless you have something against the Roku, this is really a no brainer.

I bought this tv july 03, 2016 it is on sale 239.99 now its back to regular price 299.99 i am very shock for this performance smart tv hd with roku amazing deal no body beat the price. Its look like my tv is samsung and price is 400 box but its not money saver everything i was verry happy i hope this help for the others. Best TV, alll good picture, connections, moderate sound.

SlingTv built into this set, as well as BritBox for those from UK England, Ireland, or Americans who want to enrich their viewing of this BBC service is $7 per month. Sharp certainly hit this set out of the park, built in tips and voice tour a plus. Versatility and nice selection of Smart Tv Apps at an affordable price is highly recommended. Cut your cable with this great HDTV. Pluto is yet another free app that offers over 100 free HD networks.

First things first, a regular remote with roku buttons at the bottom would be nice. Instead you just have the regular roku remote with volume and power buttons. This is only a slight inconvenience but still, come on. The real problem is that Netflix doesn’t work on this thing. I have 3 roku’s set up in the house, all of them stream everything perfectly. But this tv.... nope. If I’m lucky I’ll get 10 minutes of Netflix before it starts buffering then shuts the whole tv down. The remote won’t work during this time, and if you’re using the mobile app for the remote it fully disconnects. There’s a Netflix button on the remote. How are you gonna have a glitch if you have a built in button to jump to the app?! If you don’t use Netflix then go for it, but if you want to watch stranger things buy a different tv. So fed up with this thing. I originally thought that maybe I had a connection issue through my provider. I had them come out and look, nothing. Upgraded my internet speed.... nope. Bought a roku for my kids room to see if t was a Netflix glitch... nope that works great. By the time I got to this point I called the store and I was passed the time to return the tv. I will never purchase another sharp product again, EVEN IF THERE’S A FIRE!

The picture is good but couple of shortcomings make this TV mediocre. The sound quality is the worse I have ever heard. I'm looking into buying a soundbar. The sound is so tinny and devoid of bass that it's almost painful to watch any kind of program, especially movies. The Roku is also slow so loading and forwarding and rewind on programs are painful. For $230, the price is reasonable. The picture is good but not fantastic. It's nice to have everything integrated into one remote but getting into the menu can be time-consuming.

I like the tv but it has issues that will make me return it. The tv does not work well with a HDTV digital antenna. My three other tv's all work well with an antenna but this tv will not program in local tv stations. I even put it in the exact same spots as 2 of the tv's and still had the same issue. Also the remote will only let you go up and down on the 4 non local channels that it picked up, there in no channel choice options on the remote.

Great picture and great sound. Setup was very simple and easy to operate smart tv features.

this is a great tv it has a lot of stuff you can don don like vyou tube and netflex and tha social media things like facebook

Bought this for my room to watch Netflix and play games. It's been a pretty good T.V. until there is a firmware update. Then it will intermitently reboot to the main menu. Not sure why this is an issue (especially if I'm watching something and the update has been out for weeks). It is a known issue. Not sure if I will be purchasing another Sharp T.V. until they figure out how to not impact my watching or gaming.

Picture is good, that's where the quality stops. If you want this tv to stream you're going to get frustrated. It streams thru about 3 episodes of a show then stops connecting to the internet you then have to keep reconnecting it to your wireless, this is also a problem if you hardwire it as well. Doesn't matter what app your using all of them have this issue so it's the TV not the apps. Constantly checked on a firmware update and that wasn't the issue. Clearly the wireless card and or motherboard. Sharp has given me a run around with them fixing the issue and Best But is absolutely useless as always. Save your money, buy something else. I will never ever own another Sharp product again. Sharp once stood for quality, but like everyone else they've sacrificed quality for price and volume of sales. If you've bought this tv enjoy your oversized paperweight.

Overall, the TV has a great picture and sound quality. Love the ROKU being part of the TV. But within 24 hrs of having it installed and watching it for about 5 hrs yesterday night. This morning tried to turn it back on and it would not turn on. I tried resetting it according to the manual. The one feature I did not like is that it can only be turned on by the remote. There are no switches on the side, front or bottom.

good picture and sound. Worked fine with Spectrum cable tv box. Got rid of the box and am using SPECTRUM pp, and have issues with jumpy piture, and voice or picture not in sync at times. Called Spectrum and they tell me Sharp TV's do not handle their app well. They said it would work fine with a ROKU type device or get a SAMSUNG, which handles the SPectrum app well

Very pleased with the Sharp TV. Excellent price and very good picture quality. The setup for Netflix, Amazon, Roku was very easy and the physical TV setup took about 5 minutes. Overall, a fantastic TV at an extremely reasonable price.

Went into Best Buy to browse TVs and was talked into this TV. The price was amazing (under $300 at the time) and I loved the features of the Roku built into the TV to add more options available in comparison to a regular Smart TV. The problem I run into is that if I am done watching something, it will many times it gets stuck and won't let me go back to the previous screen and I have to go back to the home screen and go back into the application (like Hulu for example). Over the last few days I have not been able to watch anything on HBO Go and my internet signal is excellent and I even deactivated and reactivated my account on there to see if it helped. So I had to hook up my Apple TV to this TV to be able to watch anything without issue (I don't have cable) which defeats the purpose and convenience of the Roku part of this TV. I gave this 4 stars because the picture quality and price are a 5 but the functionality is definitely a 3 - very hit or miss.
