    I've owned this product for less than a week and I'm already having issues. First let me start with what's good . I love the picture quality and the Roku integration with things like Netflix, NFL channel etc... I also like the ease with which you can switch between Cable, Xbox etc... Now on to the problem. The TV simply won't turn on after being shut down for long periods (this started the 2nd day I owned it). I then have to unplug from the back and plug back in and that only fixes the problem sometimes. Sometimes I'll unplug for 30 seconds or more, plug back in, hit the power button and nothing. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason as to how to get the TV to operate properly.

    The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

    We purchased this TV in March 2016. Picture quality is fabulous, sound is great. However. Couldn't get the wireless to connect to the internet, and eventually called Geek Squad to have it repaired. Well, they came out, replaced the wireless card, and it worked great. For about 5 hours. Then it started a shut off/turn on loop, and I could not get access to any of the settings, etc. Ended up having to unplug it to stop the loop - just turning the power off does not work. Now Geek Squad will be required to come out again and put another wireless card in the TV, and possibly a new motherboard. For a brand new TV, this is not acceptable, especially since this appears to be a known problem. Bought another Sharp TV for living room at the same time - had problems with it too. Replaced that one, and will never buy another Sharp product.

    Slower than anticipated

    Before making my selection I informed the salesman that I had a stand alone Roku and Apple TV, but he still insisted on this product. He assured me the built-in Roku was faster and a must have, so I figured why not since it would allow me to sell my Roku and offset the cost of the tv. Unfortunately, the tv's Roku feature turned out to be slower than the stand alone unit. I liked the quality of the tv so I overlooked the slower loading times, but no less than 30 days later the tv started to freeze randomly. The apps began to temporarily freeze and the tv would become unresponsive all together, requiring unplugging the tv to fix the issue. Thankfully, bestbuy allowed me to exchange the tv for a non smart version that was 5" bigger and $50 cheaper. Maybe I got a lemon, but I wouldn't recommend this tv.

    We bought this TV about a month ago, and we are very pleased. The setup was simple, and it has good picture and sound. The Roku works well, and I wish I had gone with a smart TV earlier.

    Bought this TV on 12/20/2016 and it lasted till today 11/12/2021 if only I bought the 5 year protection plan because it went from working to a black screen but for the price it was worth it

    A perfect TV for our living room. The previous owners of our new house left a wall-mount to put up a TV. Great idea since TV's have become almost as cheap, if not cheaper, than wall art! We like the smart TV features to watch Netflix and Hulu via the Roku app. Picture quality and sound is great. We weren't looking for anything fancy, like 4K or other high-end features, so this TV works perfectly.

    Got a great deal on this Sharp 43" smart TV and wish I would have bought a couple more. Easy-peasy setup right out of the box, was watching my blueray player, satellite box, Chromecast, and of course the built-in streaming (Netflix, HBO Now, etc.) with virtually no operator-required steps to get everything configured. A real plus to get 3 HDMI inputs. And the picture--really good, almost as good as my high-end Vizio. Sound is decent as well. Overall I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

    Love that Roku was already set up. Paid 250, cant beat that. Get Netflix and Amazon after brief account setup. Overall impressed with the TV, haven't bought a SHARP product since my VCR days.

    Sharp Roku TV

    The interface is beautiful, simple and clean. With the Roku built in and the new Xfinity app, this set offers the promise of a very simple setup, just plug it in. No additional set top box needed. Unfortunately, while using the Xfinity app or the Netflix app on the Roku interface, the voice and video are out of sync by as much as 1 minute making the TV unwatchable. The OTA tuner and a Chromcast worked well, displaying excellent picture with good sound. To correct the sync issue, Sharp customer support suggested resetting the software, then a full factory re-set. The Netflix app improved, while the Xfinity app remained unwatchable. When compared to my other standalone Roku devices, this built in Roku is much slower. Slower to search, slower to load channels. Neither Sharp or Roku support could identify what version of Roku was built into the set, but the built in hardware is clearly inferior to the standalone Roku Premier. While I very much like the design along with the interface appearance, the slow processing of the built-in Roku device destroyed the experience.

    Disappointed- slow, freezes, regret purchase

    Previous set up was Samsung F5000 series (not smart TV) with Xbox 360 for streaming, no cable, was great. Bought this sharp Roku to save $ after selling gaming consoles. Regret that. I have constant issues with it not responding to pressing pause, play, etc. It takes a while to respond and often will close the app you're in. You would think Hulu and Netflix would work well since they're featured on the remote, but YouTube seems to be the main app that doesn't have issues. I had a much better experience with a non smart TV hooked up with an older gaming system than this new smart TV. The only pros: Picture is great, sounds good, but that's when it's working correctly. Moved it right beside the router and no difference.

    So far I have been VERY pleased with this TV. The Roku has been a great addition to our house. My wife loves that ability to easily stream our pictures to the TV for the kids to see. The fast boot up, the great streaming, the EASE of use. This has been a great replacement for a different TV I returned because it was junk.
