Bought for our bedroom. Can watch TV or movies (netflix). Great price for this TV

The tv has an awesome picture. Love that it is a smart tv and all the apps are on it.

I was going to originally order a different TV, but when I saw the price difference in the ordinary TV I was planning to get I soon switched over to the Sharp. It's a well established brand and I have had other Sharp brand products and they all per formed well. It has a good picture with good sound, and with the streaming feature you can always find something to watch.

This 43” TV is perfect for my needs in my upstairs living room. The screen resolution is great and the sound is fantastic. I’ve had other TVs that you HAVE to hook up a sound bar just to hear them. Not with this one. Also love the Roku interface. I have two in other rooms and they’re great. I have a larger TV in my other living room but this 43” is perfect for upstairs.

After setting the unit up the display worked fine for about two minutes. Then the entire left side of the screen displayed a linear pattern completely covering that side of the screen. I unplugged the TV and restarted with no change. I turned it off and back on with no change. I turned it off and waited about 30 minutes before turning it back on, and it worked fine ...for about a minute, then the same area of the screen was covered with a slightly different linear pattern. I depressed the reset button with no change. I will be returning the unit today.

If you're familiar with Roku's interface and remote, this TV will be up your alley, as the splash screen is very similar to Roku's home screen and the remote is the Roku remote. If you want a TV to come on to your cable box or antenna at start up, you will need to adjust your expectations. But it's worth it! No one has a better screen than Sharp. This is my 4th and the resolution, clarity and color depth is as good as my Sharp Quattron 70" (the one that had Sulu saying "Oh my"). Navigating between inputs is easy from the splash screen; no pressing Input and scrolling down to the attached device. Just cursor over to what you want, hit OK and it's playing. Plenty of HDMI inputs. Sure footed if you want to set it on a cabinet and easy to mount on the wall. Great TV for an even greater price. Step up to quality!
