Quite A Nice Surprise!

Controls are well laid out, the radio reception is good, sound quality excellent. Was able to use the "audio in" jack to connect my Sony 5 disk CD player (using it because it shuffles and repeats.) Using my own Mirage FRX-1 speakers with it. Would I purchase again? Absolutely! Only drawback is the cheap looking MDF cabineted supplied speakers - didn't even try them out 'cause I have my Mirages (made by Klipsch.)

It Will Do Fine

The switch between CDs is rather loud though. But, I'm just very thankful I could still find a CD player to replace my Sony that finally crapped out after using it constantly for 19 years.

Sound is decent but it makes a lot of noise when you insert or change the cds. Haven’t tried bluetooth yet, instructions are not easy to read and understand. The best feature is having 5cd inserts where you can enjoy hearing you music for old times sake.. If they can make a smoother and add wireless it can be a very cool system.. Needs more upgrades…

I also have a more expensive Bose CD player which I purchased from Best Buy about 5 years ago. The sound quality from my new Sharp CD player is very comparable to the Bose system and I believe most people would not notice any difference in sound quality at normal listening levels.

I wish the front lit up as I always have to turn on a flashlight to see the buttons. Eventually I'll do the presets etc. Bought it to replace an old Sharp that has 5 CD drawers, a cassette player, AM & FM. Speakers also 50 watts but the CD drawer gave out. Also I will get money back from Rakuten for this and it was a full $50 cheaper than the same model at amazon! Great sound! Timely delivery. Highly recommend.
