The sound is excellent for its size and price. I ran one speaker on longer wires to the opposite side of the bookcase with great results. The CD player is finicky. Let it take its time to warm up and slowly read the disk, and then it works.

So far it seems a very fine product. I purchased it for my wife to listen to while she paints.

I wanted a small system with quality sound -- the Sharp 5-Disc Micro system gave me that and more! I have turned off my TV except for a few select programs and turned on my Sharp 5-Disc system. Nerves improving thanks to great sounds/music coming from my Sharp! I'm more than happy with my purchase.

I have only one complaint. There is a shuffle option on the 5 disc player. However it only shuffles within one disc instead of between all 5 discs. If I wanted to listen to one disc at a time, I don’t need to shuffle it. I wanted to listen to a different disc for every song. Shuffle option should be noted on description or packaging as per disc.

Excellent performance at a great price point. We needed to replace a failed shelf unit and after shopping around online we chose the Sharp Micro System. Great sound, fit perfectly in the shelf unit. If we have one little nit, the initial setup is a bit more complicated than necessary, but we are quite happy with our decision.

This product is excellent and a great value for the price. I was replacing a Bose CD Player that attached to my Boss Wave Player the item is no longer available so I went shopping. Never thought that I would get something of equal value to a Bose but I did. This has more features than I expected, and I love the size. I would highly recommend this product!

Works flawlessly. Surprisingly good sound. I have it on one of those ladder bookcases, with the CDs and speakers on different shelves. I wish it just started playing CD #1 again, after #5 ends but I bet most people would prefer not. It does shut itself off, which is good. Definitely recommend. I like to support Best Buy because they support their employees with college tuition, etc.

The sound from this CD player is much better than my old "boom box". I am enjoying using it and purchased it because it would play 5 CD's. It is a little annoying that the lights don't go out when I power off, but that's OK. A few times the CD has stopped playing in the middle of the CD, but I figured out that my phone bluetooth was interfering. I have only tried the radio once and had trouble with getting it to find a clear station. Could be I'm doing something wrong.

I purchased this system to replace a 5-disc CD changer that I have had for close to 15 years which stopped working. After not being able to find a 5-disc carousel in stock anywhere, I decided on this one. The set up was easy and it has a great sound. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
