Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The reason we purchased this was for the cd player. We accidentally somehow ordered 2 of these. We were having an outdoor party and wanted to put 5 CDs in, hit shuffle and not worry about the music . Well opened the first one...got it all set up... everything but the cd player worked great...the sound was awesome...but the cd player wouldn't play anything...but I thought...let's open the other one...the other one the CD player could not recognize a CD in the player...fit to be tied I went back to the other one the next day...this time it played a CD after I unplugged it and plugged it back in...but there is no shuffle button...in order to switch songs and CDs you have to program which song you want to play and in what order...nice, if you have the time to program that. So, good sound, cd player a bust!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far, so good. I wanted a compact system to play old CD's and it works well. Noticeable sound when switching discs, but that was the same with the bigger stereo system/CD player that I previously had. Also, after reading some reviews about the flashing screen when off, easily remedied that by clicking "Eco" button which turns off any screen visuals, when not in use. Sound is good for a small unit-from rock, reggae to opera the tones are as expected from a smaller system. I am happy with my purchase.

I previously had one but it got damaged and I was so hurt. I've looked high and low. I just happen to be out of town and thought I would look and see if Best Buy would have something like this. I called my city to see if I could get it at home and I was able to buy it at home. I love it.
