Now, it automatically switches to Bluetooth in the middle of playing a CD. Bluetooth comes on automatically and unwanted. You press the Function button, and it stayed on CD two seconds before automatically switching to Bluetooth.

Please be advised that once a device (phone/tablet) has on Bluetooth and is already connected to the unit and is within 32 feet (10 meters) it will be activated, this does not have to be yours, it can be from someone who is in the same proximity. We suggest that you perform a reset on the unit.

It skips songs, will only play a few on one CD before it jumps to the next CD. May be a situation where I have to learn better how it functions, but come on; should I really have to study up on my stereo to be able to enjoy it? Ridiculous.

However the Bluetooth feature over rides EVERYTHING. am/fm radio all revert back to bluetooth after a short time. I got the runaround from Best Buy for a month, then called SHARP. They were honest & told me it was a "manufacturer's defect". By the time I shared this with Best Buy, they said it was too late to return. The cd player will only continue working if you shut down EVERY bluetooth appliance in the house! All smart phones, TVs, and computers. And yes, even your vehicle if it's within 32' of your house! Best Buy gave me a gift card code for a lousey $15, and even that turned out to be invalid! Never doing business with BB again!

Problems with bluetooth
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Problems with Bluetooth taking over. Can't play CD because of bluetooth. Starts playing CD, even one with recorded mp3 file, and within a few minutes it goes to BLUETOOTH mode and stops playing. The only way I can get it playing CDs is have my old iPhone connected to it. If it's not connected, in a few minutes of playing a CD, it switches to bluetooth mode and stopped playing the CD. Seems to be a problem with this unit. I would not recommend it.

If the unit changes to Bluetooth is not because it is defective or malfunctioning, this unit has NFC (Near Field Communication), this was added to the stereo to simplify the pairing method of the Bluetooth connectivity, if you do not want this to happen, please disable the Bluetooth on your smart devices and the NFC as well.

All Digital Remote Control, batteries not included

I am not a technical person at 67 I want plain and simple turn on button and play. I found it agravaiting to operate all by the remote control with batteries I did not have. Back in the 1980's we had a 4 cd player that was easy and changed cd's on it's own. This player you have to use the remote control for everything.....ug...

Then all of a sudden it would go from the AM/FM station to Bluetooth all by itself. It would also turnoff by itself. Contacted Sharp and they could not help. Unplugged and plugged back in. same thing continues. And this happens everyday.
