For what we paid this tv does it alll. 50 inches for the game room after kids broke the 47 inch. I love the 120 refresh rate...so much better than 60hz. Only thing I hate is the stand. It's a rectangle that is "open". About and inch thick around and whole center is open exppising the base of the credenza. Otherwise great tv

Solid television. Easy to operate, multiple functions, good picture, and a great value for the money. Not crazy about the stand but I am going to hang on wall so no worries there.

On the outset, I have say I thought the method of attaching the included stand was lacking in user friendliness. It was a real trick reaching into these holes to get the screws lined up (a magnetic screwdriver would have been useful). However, that one item is a one-and-done task. The included stand is not designed sturdy enough to let one turn the TV frequently. There are standard mounting holes in the back, however, and I would consider getting something else if you plan on angling the TV often. Outside of the short-term experience with the stand, I have not had ONE BIT of problem or disappointment with this unit. While it plays BluRay discs like you're in a theater, it also plays my retro gaming console as good as you'd hope. (or an old VCR / DVD if you still have one that uses the RCA jacks). We also have a Cable Box, Xbox 360 and WDTV. Up until this time, I was holding out for one such as this with "motion enhancement", however, I should say that most of the time I do not use the motion setting above the standard 60mhz. This unit literally outperforms my expectations. Also, I did NOT want a "smart" TV because I can only imagine "Smart" features are still rapidly evolving. I already have a BluRay player which has Netflix, Amazon video, Youtube, Hulu, etc etc. Why duplicate the tech and have one more thing to break? I can't argue or agree with those reporting disappointment with the built-in sound, because I already have a receiver and speakers set up. You may want to check out the sound if you're going to use the on-board sound. The guy at Best Buy put in in my car for me and as big as it is, it fit right into my Camry backseat and the doors closed! (barely). I seriously could not have asked for better service all the way around.

Easy set up, the picture is clear and the tv is simple to operate. I'm not a fan of the stand, it is hard to clean dust from the inside.

First, I got this tv as open box. The thing that was annoying was that the sales guy said it would be easy to find a stand (open box so they didn't have the original stand), I still haven't found a stand yet. Overall good tv but I wouldn't have got it if I knew I couldn't get a stand.

Compared the Sharp against Sony, Vizio, and Samsung. Samsung only one close on picture quality but was $150 more. Others definitely inferior. At home, set was as good as store. Only complaint is that set does not even come with legs or a stand.

Couldn't beat the deal on this for $399 however had to return the first TV as there was some of the pixels damaged and there was a small black spot in the screen. The second TV's stand was extremely warped so that one had to go back. By the third unit all was fine.

Took a chance on this TV since it is new, was a Sharp and didn't really have any reviews. Out of the box, it was easy to set-up, and had all the right connections. There is actually 3 HDMI ports. I did have to re-tighten the stand once, since it was kind of flimsy the first time I set it up. You really need to make sure the screws are tight to limit any sway. Other than that, it ran it's own set-up routine and immediately connected to my cable. Beautiful picture and the sound is fine. I even switched it to game mode to give it a little more sharpness. The kids recently moved the XBOX on it and they are very impressed with the refresh rate, color and sharpness. So far so good, and the price can't be beat for a 50". Have to say I'm happy at this point.

This is a great TV for the price. Could I get a TV with a sharper picture, more features, and Smart TV capabilities? Yeah sure, but it would have been double the price! Pros: PRICE Quality picture Great placement of connections Cons: Colors come up muted or bleeding into each other Optimization can take awhile No swivel rotation on the stand
