May have gotten a lemon

I loved the TV (great picture and color) things that move quickly ( music playlists, children's cartoons) would flicker and stay on the screen after the motion stopped. I exchanged it for a more expensive Sony and BestBuy's customer service was great.

Poor TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only have TV from an antenna, and satellite. No "HD". When you turn on the set it takes 20 seconds from the time you hit the on button to when the picture comes on. Then if you want the dish it's 20 seconds more for it to go to the dish receiver and 10 seconds more before the picture comes on. Time between channels is slow too. You can't scroll either. One channel at a time. It's just poor. Picture quality is awful. They say it's because I don't have HD. Don't have HD on our other 3 sets and they are fine. I should have returned it but I had already purchased a smart TV that I couldn't use but was told the picture would be equal to my old Plasma set. Wrong! It was worse than this one. So you took it back and sold me this. Said it had the "fastest recovery time." What ever that is. So I just put up with it. Trying to sell it.

Screen was cracked

They had no more of this model. Closest model with this refresh rate was $100 more. So I ended up paying $100 more. This has happened to me several times at best buy now. I get a decent deal, the product is defective, there are no more. I end up paying more than I planned.

Not a real Sharp

I went to Best Buy to purchase an advertised Sanyo but couldn't find it on display anywhere. The Sharp was available with the same spec's and I thought it would be as good or better. It is giving an error onscreen and Sharp support hasn't been fun to deal with. They sent a Best Buy Geek Squad technician out who couldn't find the model on Sharp's Service Support site. He later discovered that it was a Best Buy only model that Sharp had built. They told us they would try replacing the main board in a week or so and see if that fixes the problem. All of this is unacceptable. I will be returning my new TV and expecting to leave with the Sanyo that was advertised for the same price.

Terrible

My wife and I are not technology freaks, and we figured any tv would be sufficient for our purposes. We were wrong! The picture quality for HD was laughable. On scenes that were fast paced, the lag time and distortion was shocking. At all other times, the color balance and lighting was way off. As a result, every HD program looked out of focus, as if it was a low budget production from the 1970s. We returned the tv. If you want to roll the dice and hope for the best, I wish you luck. If you value your time and want to get things right the first time, do not even consider this tv. I almost never return anything, and I have never previously written a product review. I, however, could not pass up this opportunity to possibly help others avoid the mistake we made.

Sharp TV doesn't even last 7 years

Poor picture quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the tv on Oct 15th 2014 and from the start I wasn't impressed with it, for being a 120hz tv it wasn't smooth or seamless like others I've viewed. On fast paced movies I experienced noticeable motion blur and a shakiness to the picture on slower scenes. I went through the settings many times to try and correct the issue but never fully resolved the issue, I ended up returning the tv 4 days later and would not recommend this tv to anyone.

Dead after 2years. No bargain

Bad quality

Hassle to return to UPS as Best Buy wouldn't let me return it to the store. Finally got UPS to pick up and I just returned it. I would not buy on line from Best Buy again

Waste of $

The sound quality was horrible and fast moving images got really blurry. Returned it the same day and got an LG 55"

Broken

Broke within a week
