I was pleasantly surprised by this tv. I originally came to Best Buy to purchase a Samsung tv that was on sale. It was smaller but many people told me that Samsung tvs have great picture quality. They didn't have it in stock and the girl felt badly so she showed me this tv. It is very basic with it's options. I really only wanted a tv that had good, clear, colorful picture. This tv really measures up. I figured I would just return it if I was unhappy at all. I held onto the box for two days to make sure I was completely satisfied. For the price I can't imagine finding something better in this size. My mom is actually considering buying one after visiting!

Easy to set up with Direct TV, Apple TV, however not so easy setting up my sound bar, but I think that is because I do not remember the model. Picture quality is fantastic ... was in sale and it was a great buy. Highly recommend. Easy to mount in wall once I bought the wall mount.

Worth every penny spent. Got this to put in our living room for entertainment systems and gaming. Picture quality is great for both. Realistic pixel colors, no problems with the product so far and have had it for a month. With three HDMI ports it is perfect for multi console/entertainment system homes. We have our three systems hooked up through the HDMI and an HD TV antenna as well. Turns on faster than our smart TV, for obvious reasons, and though not necessary for our living room size pairs well with our sound system, though it already has excellent internal speakers. (I like to try to avoid burning them out). Great purchase if you are looking for a good and affordable 50" LED HD TV.

I was debating between a 40 inch Samsung and this 50 inch sharp for roughly the same price on Black Friday. The only thing I consistently saw in reviews was that the sound was poor, and being the owner of a 60 inch sharp already I wasn't surprised to see this from others. I went with the sharp over the Samsung and I don't regret it at all, the speakers are way louder than the 60 inch and thanksgiving football looked great on it.

I have never had a larger tv, so I started reading the reviews and searching online so I would be prepared when I decided to make my purchase. I love everything about this tv, from easy set up, to the great picture.

The Sound on the television is not very good, but the picture is quite clear. The sound goes from loud to soft within a movie. The controls are easy to use. I don't know if a sound bar would help or not. The colors are true to life and bright.

We love it. It has great picture and sound. Our previous Flat screen had terrible sound. You don't need a sound bar with this TV. It's very slim and light weight too.

I saw this online and less than $400.00. I had a Panasonic 50' and it died in less than 4 years. Cause the dreaded 7 lights of death! Panasonic knows about the issue and is willing to nothing-to bad so sad says they. I went in to the local Best Buy as I am a member and they were even nice enough to send me $5.00 coupon, that I used towards the purchase of this TV. All of the Best Buy people were tremendous. From the girl I bought the TV from, the guy at the pick-up counter, the guy who carried it out to my vehicle. I can't say enough about the service I got. The TV has a great picture good sound easy set up and I was watching TV about 2 hours after the purchase, most of that was drive time. Thanks Best Buy you were the Best!

This is a great TV. Very slim, very light weight and very easy to mount. The picture quality is much better than I expected. I actually bought 2 of them and even referred a friend to go get one while they were still in stock. Unbeatable price for the quality.

Great price great picture, and it's not a smart TV. Seriously those are over rated. The sound is even a step above most flat screens. I play games and it is a huge improvement over my previous 48' plasma. If this is your price range you might not get a better deal and if this is your size requirement this is a great TV.

I like the quality of this TV. Looks great in my basement - picture is clear from close range or far away. So thin and light for how big it is. Only complaint is that I was told it came with a Roku stick and it didn't,

Volume is wonky but picture is great. HDMI ports are stiff in a good way with good picture quality. For $299 for a decent brand HDTV at 50 inches I didn't go wrong.

Purchased two of these for displaying computer presentations in a meeting room. The picture is excellent for that. Haven't tried them with an actual tv/cable feed. Easy to setup and adjust.

Purchased this tv about three months ago, great picture, great price, but the sound is not great. Depending how large your living room is, you might need a sound bar.

Not the best. But hey for 400 dollars this 50 inch from sharp was cool. Colors on screen are not the coolest though, or may be its me! Somehow green seems to be not green anymore. It's just like some blob from alien world. While Red / Blue shades are really elevated and the subjects are shown brilliant details, green in the "RGB" is totally off. Couldn't figure out a way to fix it. Other than that we like it. Well, a transformation from 32 inch to 50 inch is REALLY a transformation. If you can figure out a way out for the color schema I think this is one of the best pick in LED tv's out there.

Great picture and sound. Was easy to set up and was impressed by the quality for the money.

This was a second TV that I needed for an elderly relative that had to be what I call a dumb TV & it also has great color & crisp picture & easy functions that my relative could use,also a great price.

This TV has a large and very clear picture. It was easy to set u[ and to operate. It has a good sound quality even if you choose not to add a sound bar or other speaker system to it.

The picture is really good. The only only reason that I didn't give it 5-stars is because, like some other reviewers have said, the volume could be better. But, overall, great picture and tv for the price.

I love my new TV. Huge upgrade from the 32" I had prior. I got an excellent deal on Black Friday. Works extraordinarily well especially on my HD channels. The TV weighs virtually nothing compared to the old 32". I am pleased.
