This TV works great, is easy to program, and has great sound quality and picture. I'm glad I bought it.

I found the color better when it was just on an antenna. Once hooked up to cable, the blacks became so dark that definition was lost. I've played with the settings, but each scene seems to switch between too black and a great picture. I also don't like that I am unable to get the television to play through my surround system (connected through HDMI) without a digital optical connection. Other than that, I'm enjoying the device.

So far, I am very happy with my TV. I have had Sharp televisions in the past and they have been exceptional. I was originally going to get a 55'' Insignia, but none were in stock and the Sharp was on display and I was able to pick one up. It turned out that the 50" screen is plenty big.

Was doubtful to buy a SHARP after having many SAMSUNGS but tried it as a gift for a family member. To my surprise, the picture is excellent and digitally clear. Easy hook up and enough HDMI ports for several hook-ups. This was a fantastic gift that will bring many years enjoyment to my family and their friends.

Got this tv for my bedroom. It is great pic for the price and size. Easy to set up and use.

I really enjoy this TV. It is just what we needed to upgrade from our 32" set to a larger one. It's easy to understand, and has a beautiful picture. Working in the TV industry myself, i'm picky about how televisions look, but don't want to spend the money on needless additives. We just needed a TV, and this was the best choice! Couldn't ask for anything better.

This is a very good buy for the price! It shocked me that this is a Sharp. I am usually a Sony man so I was a little leery in buying this, but after seeing the picture I was lured in. I couldn't find the model number to program in my Logitech remote, but other then that this TV is the perfect size, picture, and price.

I want to start by saying this TV is a second TV in a vacation home. My home TV is a 4k Sony 850c XBR and is top notch (just so you have reference for my review) That said, this is a solid TV. I use it mostly for streamed content and it performs well. I agree with the other reviews which mention the audio quality. It's not great. I use an LG sound bar and it's fine. Buy it if it's on sale.

Great tv for the money, got it on black Friday for 299. Awesome picture and very easy to set up.

TV's without smart capabilities are a thing of the past. I want to stream. But if you are looking for an inexpensive TV with good quality picture and sound to add an external streaming device to, look no further.
