Roku worth the extra cost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV over a couple of competitor's products for the Roku functionality (having previously owned a Vizio Smart TV and an LG with Google TV) and I find it far surperior in functionality to those older offerings in the Smart TV category. Picture quality is nice (this was for a secondary room, didn't need anything above 1080p/60Hz) and the sound quality from the built-in speakers is acceptable. Overall pleased with the TV for the price I paid.

The best way to Roku

We've chosen to go in on Roku because of the unified remote and ARC control of a sounder. It's the best Smart TV system out there, without any major privacy concerns (looking at you, Samsung). Picture quality is great, sound quality is average. I do recommend adding a sound-bar, just make sure you get one with ARC so you won't need a second remote control on your coffee table or night stand.
