I read the reviews and it looked like some customers had problems....so I was aware that something could go wrong. Well, nothing went wrong and I'm pleased with my purchase. Considering the price, it's a great deal. Picture and sound quality really good,,,I'm no expert when it comes to electronics/televisions......but I do know what I like....and this TV is exactly what I needed at an excellent price.

Absolutely love this tv! Easy to set up, real clean and clear picture quality.

Before deciding on this Sharp Roku TV, I downloaded the user guide from SharpTVUsa com and read it carefully. The important thing for me is its ability to play MP4 files (which I was not able to confirm with other brands). The picture quality is quite good, albeit I have to adjust down the brightness, contrast and sharpness. After these adjustments, I am satisfied that the picture quality is now excellent. The Roku feature is surprisingly useful to me. Now I can watch videos via internet without my PC or an additional box with its own remote control. Few negatives. The remote is very limited, and to Sharp marketing: I will never use a voice recognition system, so please put back all the number buttons, this is not helpful. Secondly, when turned on the TV takes too long to show anything on the TV, as if it is booting up every time; preferably it should be in standby and display picture and audio within 2 seconds.

Picture Quality amazing after adjusting contrast, backlight level, and sharpness. The Remote is not totally user friendly but that is easily solved by using a Logitech Universal Harmony remote that controls not only my TV but my entire home theater system and lights. The one major drawback with this and many other thin LED TV screens is the sound quality but that is why I have a surround sound system.

Let me start off by saying there was nothing wrong with the tv that I could tell, that is why this review got 2 stars instead of none. I bought this tv as an "Open Box Item" and it was GeekSquad Certified: Excellent. By GS standards that means that every single piece of the tv is included in the box and it is free from defects and cosmetic issues(the only thing that "could" be missing is the installation/user manual). That is NOT what I got. I ordered this product online and received it within a couple of days(AWESOME! Especially since it was Christmas time and I was treating myself) when it arrived I immediately started taking it out of the box to put together. The first thing I noticed was it was missing a screw for one of the bottom mounts(not really that big of a deal) after I put these on I start looking in the box for the rest of the pieces...and guess what I find?!?! There is NO power cord and NO remote!! I purchased a GS warranty at the same time so I called them to see what could be done because had I know that this was missing the most essential parts I would've never purchased this product. I went back and forth with BB and with GS on getting the stuff I needed. GS then wouldn't honor my warranty because "we only cover the original parts included in the package and since these products weren't included it is out of our control" even though GS had already certified that this product had all necessary pieces. I then went into Best Buy(45 minutes away) to see what could be done because I was told that I needed to come up there and a manager would give me the parts I needed. I was then told I would have to purchase the parts I needed. That wouldn't have been a big deal had I known going into this that I would need to buy extra parts, but since I took them at their word and got screwed I don't feel like I should have to buy anything at this point. After all of this was said and done(over 3 weeks passed) I still hadn't heard from anyone regarding this matter so I returned this product to the store and am seriously contemplating never doing business with GS or BB ever again. I'm highly disappointed

This Tv is has great picture quality and a nice size. The featured apps in the tv are a plus and it has an easy set-up. Love the TV and got it at a low price.

I don't believe in spending too much for TVs as I'm rarely home so this unit fit the bill. It replaced an "old school" plasma which still works. Almost a month in, picture is clear and Roku set up was simple if you know what to do. Keep in mind that you have to sign up for a account with Roku to access the TV programming functions, even if you don't use the smart apps. Overall good TV for the price.

Smart TV set up was easy and user Friendly. Picture and sound quality are excellent.
