I got this TV because it has Roku onboard. My parents are not very tech-savy and are totally floored with how easy it is to get 1000s of entertainment options with this TV. For those who might be challenged with setting up a streaming service separate from the TV, this solves all the stress because the moment we turned it on, it acquired the wifi signal, and Roku was ready to go with Netflix, Amazon, Hulu already setup. This TV looks great and sounds wonderful, for the price and ease of use I consider this a true value and real benefit for my parents who feared hooking up their TV to the internet.

This sharp 50inch smart tv with Roku is a good deal for the money. The picture is just as good as our 1080 LCD LG tv. The two negatives that we have found are the sound, for some reason the volume seems to up and down for no reason. We called our cable supplier and they came it is not them, this volume fluctuation only happens on certain channels. The other draw back is you need to use two remotes, the tv remote to turn in the tv and select your cable carrier and then the cable remote to change the channels and the volume. That is a nuisance. But all and all, for 300$ it is a decent tv with smart tv capabilities.

This is a great TV, wonderful picture and relatively easy to navigate. The only down side is the small remote is hard to use with easily pressed side buttons.

My daughter found this 50" Sharp HDTV with built in Roku online at Best Buy for me when I was looking for an inexpensive tv for the cabin. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the picture screen and ease of manuvering through the Aps. Best part is I don't have a seperate cable bill, just pay for Wi-Fi and can still watch the majority of what I already subscribe to with my cable company back at home. It also has additional ports to add on (ex: Chrome cast, Apple TV, etc) and includes Netflix and Prime already without having to have additional electronic boxes and wiring to clutter things up.

I purchased the 50" Sharp Roku tv online for an extra room in the house. It took a little bit of time to initially set up, and the tv had to be turned on manually before the remote would work. Despite these minor hickups, the tv was so easy to use with my existing Netflix and Hulu accounts and easy to navigate. Watched 2 movies with a friend the first day it was installed and we both said it worked great and the picture was good. I would definitely recommend this tv, it was well priced. That room may now become my new go to tv room to use when I have guests over to watch tv.

Purchased this 50" sharp smart tv at a very good price, setting it up was simple, connecting it to the WIFI was easy. Great picture for a lower end TV brand, not a Samsung or LG but, if you want a smart tv that gives you a great 50" picture and easy to operate this is the one to get. Navigating through the smart feature is easy and fast, hook ups are easy as well. Only complaint it does not have an Ethernet connector, it works only through WIFI signal, but the router is right next to the tv so it did not make that much of a difference. Other than that, great TV and would recommend.

Earlier bought a 43' and this 50" Sharp Roku did not disappoint. Great picture and better than average sound compared to other brands ( already have a latest Vizio and Samsung). No picture adjustments required with great color - I just did a color recognition test elsewhere and was one of the few to score 100% laser vision. Unbeatable value for the price. Don't let the low sale prices fool you - it is a better TV than any other overpriced brands..

Tv is big, has Netflix, amazon, not such good sound, sometimes 15 is too loud, sometimes at 85 you still aren't able to hear clearly. Solid TV. So far so good. About a month into ownership now, has had to reboot a couple times because it was not responding to the remote control so it shut itself off and rebooted, then it was smooth sailing, semi-frustrating, but it all worked out in the end...an extra couple minutes wasn't the end of the world.

I bought this tv as I wanted 1) a larger one than my 32" and 2) because it already had Roku. Installation was easy - 4 screws and you are done! I was quickly able to connect my satellite and blu-ray player and set up the tv. It did take a little bit of time to enter passwords and such but that's with any installation. I was also able to set up my universal remote with minimal effort. My only complaint is you need the original tv remote to select the device you want to use (satellite, Roku, blu-ray) and your other remotes to work those devices.

I have to say I took a few days to research purchasing a new TV for my new place and am a huge open box/clearance item buyer. I love walking into a Best Buy or Fry's to see what they got as returned items. But in this case, I bought new and didn't worry about the $20-40 difference in price. I went to all my favorite websites for reviews and decided on this SHARP TV because of the price(on sale) and reviews. I did an in store pick up and purchased an antennae as well. I only weigh about 100 lbs and 5 ft. 3in. The reason I bring this up because the install and set up was so easy. I already had a TV mount and my brother helped w/pick up and installation. It literally took less than 30 minutes to get it all set up. I was super impressed with the picture quality and the ease of the ROKU. The sound is okay but I have a sound bar I will add. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and I even convinced my brother to get rid of his cable and buy a TV like this. I haven't had cable in several years and only recently bought a TV so I could watch World Cup. A girl needs her soccer. So I am a happy girl.

Bought this tv as a promotion following Black Friday. The price was right and the features were what I wanted. This will serve as a secondary tv and I didn't want a lot of cords or other clutter so having the Roku built in was perfect. The tv itself doesn't boast the highest specs but it's perfectly suitable for any reasonable human being. I have been completely satisfied with this. I give it 4 stars because I know enough about tvs to say this is not top of the line...but it's good enough for most applications.

We bought this TV early Dec. of 2017. Got it for less than $300! Got it home and hung it on the wall of our bedroom. We don't watch a lot of TV in there and this TV is perfect for what we need it for. Pros: Cheap, looks good, easy to setup, and clear pic! Con: The only one that I really have is that every time you turn it on, you have to select which "source" your wanting to connect to. Wish we can figure out if it is possible to just turn the TV on and it brings up the satellite.

TV reviews are sometimes odd -- so much depends on price and what type of user you are but here goes. First, I got such a good deal on this TV, one of those too-hard-to-pass-up deals. That usually sets the tone for how much you enjoy a TV but we've really loved this one. We're not TV power users so I didn't care about 4k, HDR and a lot of other bells and whistles. This TV is fairly basic in that respect but basic doesn't mean it's no good -- to me it's exactly the opposite. I have an HDTV antenna which the TV picked up and immediately updated the channels, nothing extra I had to do. I have an Amazon fire stick and a Google Chromecast connected to HDMI ports, again no additional configuration, everything just worked. The picture is amazing, it's a bedroom set so very little high-speed sports, but I've seen no blurry images whatsoever. Colors are great, the setup was nearly plug and play and the internet connectivity seems quite stable. The one and only problem I've had is likely due to the Time Warner application. If I'm watching something via our Time Warner subscription and I turn off the TV, the app loses the credentials stored so we have to re-enter the credentials -- that's a true pain, but again, I'm quite sure it has nothing to do with this TV. As a workaround, we just tune to our HD antenna before shutdown, then power off. When it comes back on, we'll go into the Time Warner app and it works fine using the stored credentials. This is the first time we've used Roku (I have Amazon Fire Stick and Google Chromecast) but I must say Roku got it right. Their interface is one of the better ones in my opinion and everything we need is readily accessible. I've had an occasional drop but that seems to happen to all of the other services in my home as well so nothing I'd attribute to this set. All in all, I'm a huge fan of Roku now. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again -- in fact, I'll probably buy another for our upstairs gameroom TV as an upgrade to a 46" Toshiba that's approaching 10 years old.
