Turns out it does have HDR. Yes its an entry level 4k tv but it looks great for the price. The down side is it does not match direct tv codes so you have to use tv remote to change volume. Direct tv says it does and gave 25 codes, they dont work.

I have 3 problematic TVs that we’re LG. I tried sharp and it works wonderfully. It is very convenient if you have a lot of streaming services. The app on the phone to be a remote is good when it connects. Sound is good and picture quality is great. Not much I can complain about.
