TV is just at one year old and discoloration/clouding has occurred at top of screen and is very noticeable in lighter/brighter scenes. I have tried adjusting settings and have contacted manufacturer but have been bounced around and have not received response.

Exactly 2 years after purchase this model Sharp w Roku manifested a factory defect. Search the web for Green lines on Sharp Roku TV and you will see the results. The TV shows green lines and is useless.

Bought this as my first 4k tv, didn't want to spend oodles of money for something I may not even notice in picture quality. I liked this having Roku built in and only one remote. Easy to set up, easy to use, quality is good too. Sound on this is much better than I expected, I would usually have to turn up the volume on our old set way high, on this one the sound is good and audible even at 10. Streaming HDR content is good and have no problems with buffering. You will have to tweak the pic settings to suit your needs but overall the TV has performed way better than I thought. As an entry 4k, this TV is great, but if you are looking for more high end, more pic settings, sound, I suggest something in that price range. This one works as intended and hopefully for years to come.

I was a bit skeptical with the brand as in the past I only used either Sony or Samsung but boy I was so wrong. I decided to pull the trigger because there was not much to loose at the price point of this tv. This is one of the best value purchase I ever made. It took 10 ministers from unboxing to viewing my favorite streaming channels thanks for the built In Roku. Great picture quality and very easy controls. Lot of input options and this is the only one that has a LAN network direct plugin connector.

TV looks great and works great, especially for the price. I own this one and the 55" version [ I've had the 55" for over a year], and I am very pleased with them both. If you're someone who cares about sound, I suggest some type of speaker system, but it does what I need it to do, and I'm not picky, but for a 4k smart tv it's great for the price!

I grew up having Sharp T.V.s as a kid. Had not bought one in over 20 years though! I remember them being reliable & lasting a long time. So far, this T.V. exceeds my expectations as far as technology and value for the price. It's as clear and easy to use as my Hitachi and LG are for half the price. Can't complain!!!

I bought this TV when my 50" Hitachi ROKU smart TV screen cracked. One thing that I noticed when I started searching for a new 4k 50" smart TV with ROKU, they all appear to be made in the same factory. They all have the same look, feel, and trim out. The remotes are also all exactly the same minus the different "brand" names. In my opinion if you're going to by a 50" 4K ROKU TV, buy the cheapest price point available because it does not appear that there is any differentiation between these units (in my opinion).
Most important with these TV's is to make sure to protect the screen. If the screen cracks the TV is rendered useless. This makes a difference if you're looking for a TV to move outside to watch movies or sports.
The interface is exactly the same as the ROKU stick, you can wireless cast windows computers to this screen, but not Apple products. The casting from my laptop works about 1/2 the time.
For the price tag it is hard to beat the value of the 50" 4K ROKU TV.

Great TV for the price. The built in Roku is awesome! Hubs on other TVs have been sluggish at best, but completely annoying. I have two other TVs with hubs and I don't use the hubs on them because they are so painfully slow. The built in Roku on this TV works perfect; it's responsive, moves quick from menu to menu and no issues when streaming. Speakers can get very loud. The picture is pretty good, but not as good as my older Samsung TVs, on which the picture is a bit more vivid. That being said, the picture is still really good. This TV is in my office and I watch it on a regular basis and would definitely buy it again. My son has the same TV, about 2 year olders than this one, and has had no issues with it. It is a quality, well made TV. Video games look awesome on it, has enough inputs for multiple devices, and the USB port works great for viewing pictures and videos on a thumb drive. This is my second one and if the need arises, would not hesitate to buy a third. As an extra TV, one for the kids or office, this is a great fit.

Would give 5 stars but remote never worked. Had to get a new one. If I didnt gave to call and follow up to get one sent out I would forgive that part and move on. But customer service was slow at first.
TV has been really good. Learning all the apps and stuff. Works great. Great picture. Sound is much better than our old tv that was only 4 years old (died in a power surge from a storm through 2 protectors).
So not a bad tv at all if the remote works or you cant set up right away.

Easy to use smart TV-great price-good picture quality. This is thee 2nd Sharp Smart TV we have. Definitely would recommend for those who want a good television. May not be as great visual quality as the higher brands but it does it purpose and for the price it can't be beat.

Taking time to get used to Roku but great picture and fairly easy to use. I don’t like that there are no number buttons on remote but getting used to it. I’m supposed to have discount on Sling but have no instructions on that. I would like better help with using all the stuff on Roku.

Bought this TV for my parents. It is very user friendly. Easy to set up. The picture is decent for the price. The blacks are not as dark as others but for the price and the location of the TV it will suffice. Overall this is a good tv. We have also bought one for my daughter and son to play their Xbox on. Completely satisfied with this purchase.

Easy setup, TV walks you through WiFi connection and such. Was up and running in 10 minutes. Good picture. Can't speak to long term quality, but seems like a decent TV for the price. Worth giving Sharp a chance as the overall cost risk is low as this will be an "Extra Room" tv.

This was a replacement using Geek Squad Protection. The TV was a great price and I got to choose my own replacement. They did not have one that stopped working so I got to choose the one I wanted.

Nice TV! If you are used to Roku, then you'll love this TV. If you are used to FireTV or Apple, just be aware that Roku's menu is slower but its also more user friendly and compatible with 3rd party products & programs. I can turn tv on/off with Alexa. The Sharp TV image is great and has DTS surround sound but the built-in speakers themselves seem to be a lower quality that does not match the quality that a DTS software system puts out, so I would purchase an external speaker system to go with TV, if sound quality matters to you. Roku has an app for mobile phones so you can control the tv from your phone if you prefer that over the remote. The remotes do not have a voice command option on them, like other smart TVs.

My first experience...

This is my first time owning a "Smart TV" up until a few weeks ago my family and I were using an older 43" flat panel that had no streaming service built in. I can honestly say I wish I had gotten one sooner. The picture to me at least is sharp, crisp and looks very good. The Roku to put it mildly is amazing, (being as is this is my first experience with anything being baked into our TV my judgement may be a bit questionable). It was extremely easy to setup, maybe all of 15mins to get it un-boxed, standing on it's own two feet and adding in my streaming services that prior to this we'd only used via our computers. What a huge change to ease of use and so nice to have everything in one unit. For the price I paid for this TV of $279.99 on Black Friday I can not recommend it highly enough...
