We got this TV during a July 4th sale a couple months ago and are very pleased with it. My wife and I were buying our first TV together and wanted something big enough for sports and video games but not too expensive, and I would definitely say we made the right choice. The picture quality is great. For someone who doesn't think 4k TVs are must-haves, this picture quality is as excellent and clear as any other. The sound works great, it doesn't need a sound bar to be clear and loud enough. The remote is very nice and simple, and very easy to use. For someone who isn't super tech savvy, this would be an ideal TV as it comes with Hulu and Netflix built-in and it makes it incredibly easy to navigate to those channels and the rest of your devices. It allows for installing lots of other apps as well and works great. My only complaint is that the Twitch app for Roku is basically useless and most streams never load (this isn't a TV problem as much as it is a problem with Roku/Twitch as companies not requiring the app be up to usable standard). Overall, I would highly recommend this TV for anyone who didn't want to break the bank for an excellent TV

The volume doesn't seem to get loud enough for me. Sometimes the remote won't turn the tv on but works otherwise. Different picture controls I'm still getting used today. Love the iPhone app remote. Overall best tv I've owned. Everything else is great, those are my only complaints.

I am not well-versed in HD vs 4K and I went into the store to compare - only could really tell the differences when they were side-by-side. regular HD was plenty for me and no need to spend significantly more for a good name-brand 4K LED tv. I bought this to retire my 32" 1080p Vizio to the bedroom, and upgrade this in my living room, it works for me. Only complaint is the small Roku-style remote does not have numbers on it, so it becomes difficult to easily switch channels when watching local broadcast TV, but not dinging the review based on this because I chose to buy the TV anyway since I only watch limited regular channels. I will update this review in the future if there are issues. So far, 8 months old and it works just fine for me.

Bought on Black Friday at Best Buy. Easy set up. Good picture. Not able to connect to WiFi, Internet provider problem based on Error 014.12 per Sharp customer service. When pressing power on the remote to the TV or dish sometimes won't turn TV on. After unplugging the cord a couple of times, so far the TV screen has turnen on. The power button on the back of the TV has not turned on or off the TV. Will be contacting Sharp on problem.

Good picture. Easy to set up. Sound is ok. Enough hdmi ports for gaming systems and dvd player. The volume on remote was a bit quarky, now does not work. This is the reason I am giving it 4 *

This TV was easy to install and the picture quality is very good. The Smart TV capability is easy to use and integrates well with my Blu Ray player I would definitely recommend this TV

This was a great purchase! It has a great picture! The features are excellent. Very easy to set up!! This is my first time buying a Sharp and I am very satisfied! I would buy this brand again.

Easy to use, big icons, good picture almost one year still works good. Only thing is I wish the remote buttons where bigger , they are tiny! And lit buttons work be great! Just saying!!

The Sharp TV is a solid value, but it needs to be adjusted a bit to make the picture smoother. Turn down the SHARPNESS for starters and use the MOVIE mode. The included Roku is why I bought this set. It's terrific and offers an unbelievable selection of apps (including my fave, FANDOR). Two small grips. The stand on the TV set isn't high enough for a soundbar to be placed in front and the TV stand itself protrudes in front of the TV quite a bit. The remote is a bit odd, but I've gotten use to it. I liked this Sharp model so much, I bought the similar 43-inch for my bedroom.

TV and picture great. Remote takes a little bit of getting used to, however Having the Roku built in makes this pair a 5 star winner. I might buy another.

Picture quality is great easy to setup only draw back is remote but then again if you have cable or satellite you use their remote

I am very pleased with this purchase. The picture is excellent and the Roku feature is a huge bonus. The is a great buy especially for the price.

Bought it as the deal of the day. Great product, especially for the price. Great features such as Netflix and YouTube. Easy to set up.

This TV is a solid value. 55" for under $400. Picture is clear, Roku is fine(I've barely explored it outside of Netflix and Amazon). 2 slightly irritating issues: it takes over 5-10 seconds to turn on. Also it always forces you to choose HDMI etc when you turn it on? Why can't it remember what was on before? Sound is ok. We added a soundbar much better. If you have the $$ get a 4K tv in 55". 1080p is fine, but 4K is way sharper for this big a tv. Still this is fair value for what it is.

I'm a Samsung devotee for large screens; however I needed to purchase 3 flat screens for a vacation rental and did not want to spend thousands of dollars. The Sharp Roku has a decent picture, not as clear as a Samsung. Color is excellent. Sound is average as most flat screens. Roku is the default for all apps. I was very impressed with Roku application and speed of process. Set up is extremely easy with simple instructions. Sharp Roku was a steal at the sale price of $368.

Can't go wrong with this tv for the price. It has been close to a year and I've had no problems with it. The picture is crisp and sharp. The only complaint I would have is the volume could be louder. Sometimes I have to turn it all the way up to hear it and other times it is fine lower. I guess if you have surround sound or something additional...it wouldn't be a problem.

Great price and very nice tv for the money. However, even with the great price and tv... there was no remote which was only noted on my receipt when I got home. Most other open boxes had a sign on top of them. My responsibility and really didn't mind the missing remote with the EXCEPTION that I could NOT set up tv at all. Was stuck on choice of language screen without a way off of it. Tv itself has no buttons either. Purchased for Super Bowl and couldn't even use it.

I was not in the market to buy a television. I actually went to Best Buy to buy a phone. I saw the television, the size was just right & the price was perfect. I walked out. I went to my car, called my brother and I told him all about the TV. My brother told me to walk back into Best Buy and buy the television, if I didn't I would regret it! He was right. I had no clue what a smart TV was and even though I'm still learning all of the many functions and features I am enjoying it every bit of it.

Bought the 58" Samsung on line because of the price. Really wanted this Sharp 55" instead. But online said it wasn't in stock at my local store. But when I went to pick up the Samsung they had 1 Sharp sitting on the shelf. So I checked out the 2 in store. To me the Sharp had a better picture and I also like the Roku better than the Samsung Hub. So did an in store return on the Samsung. Really like and would recommend this tv. No down falls found yet with this product love it.
