Dont know if its something heating up or a defect. If the wasn't happening I would have RAVE reviews. I am taking it back this weekend since i recently purchased it....It has been happening off and on for about 3 weeks. Didn't think anything at first, but now happening more often. If there is a problem returning it the unit then I will have more to say.

In regards to your picture quality we would recommend switching the AV Mode of your TV to Dynamic. You can make this change by pressing the AV Mode button on your Sharp TV remote until you see Dynamic on the screen.
