Monitoring sales for a larger TV for some time, I was pleased to find this Sharp 58" TV on sale for under $400. Delivery from Best Buy was right on time. Then came some disconcerting bobbles. My friend and I watched the setup video twice to ensure that we didn't damage the screen. The promised sturdy plastic surround with handles to make pulling the TV out of the box? Replaced with flimsy plastic that tore at the slightest resistance. Fortunately, we were able to gingerly upright the huge box and dump the TV onto a large coffee table covered in towels without damage. Then, we discovered the bolts for my Sanus stand weren't compatible so additional bolts were needed.
Those issues aside, remaining set up was easy. There were no problems connecting via the HTML cable. I already had a Roku account and logging into provided apps, like Amazon Prime and Netflix, was a breeze. I'm not a sophisticated user and haven't tweaked the settings, but quickly noticed that the dark scenes weren't as muddy as on my smaller Samsung 4K. Colors are vivid with sharp details. One understands why TV and film personalities seek copious plastic surgery intervention because every wrinkle is on full display.
I don't need booming theater-like sound so find this audio perfectly adequate. Sound variances are clearly related to the programming, not the TV. Unlike my Samsung, Roku has ready access to the channels / apps I want. The remote is small & easily misplaced, but a brightly colored cover corrected that issue. Overall, it's a very nice TV and an excellent value when on sale.

Terrific TV - If you adjust Picture Settings*

Incredible price for; Size, Features and *Image If*...
The Default Picture Setting out of the box was horrible on our TV (may be fine on others). But if you dabble with the Advanced Picture Settings, accessible by hitting the * button on TV remote during a program in play, the Picture can be adjusted to greatness. The explanations for each picture control are listed on screen as you scroll through them. Like Lowering Contrast/Darkens Whites. Lowering Brightness/Darkens Blacks, etc. We found the TV's Default on Movie Setting of Color Temperature/Warm to be WAY too warm and changed it to normal, along with some other tweaks. Thankfully the TV remembers your modifications to the Picture Modes per TV input. After 2 day we are leaning to keeping it.

Last minute buy. I went in to get a 50 inch. This tv was cheaper and better than the one I planned to buy. The Roku sealed the deal! I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I am thinking about purchasing another one soon. It was easy to setup, although I wish that the remote was a little better. For such a great deal, I can live with the remote. I'm glad that it was in stock.

We bought this TV for our living room during Best Buy's anniversary sale at a great price. It's has a large 57.5" screen with 2160p resolution for stunning HD images with plasma-like deep blacks and rich colors. With a 120 Motion Rate, you'll enjoy fast-moving movies, sports and video games with a minimum of motion blur.
Being a Smart TV it provides access to streaming services for countless entertainment options with the TV's built-in Wi-Fi and integrated apps. Built-in Roku smart platform allows access to stream from thousands of streaming channels.
Good sound quality is provided by two 10W speakers.
3 HDMI inputs for the best home theater connection
High-speed HDMI delivers picture and digital surround sound in one convenient cable. There is one 1 USB input to connect your digital camera, camcorder or other USB device.
It's a great TV at an affordable price. It's too bad that it's not manufactured in the U.S. but then there are no TVs manufactured in the U.S. anymore.

I had originally purchased a 55 inch TCL 4 series which was OK. A few days later, Best Buy ran this TV as a door buster for the same price I paid for the TCL so I exchanged it. Not only is the screen a bit larger but the image and colors are brighter on the Sharp (better for HDR). Only complaint is the upscaling of regular HD from my cable box produces some jagged lines on animation programs and I see some other minor artifacts that is not as noticeable on my Samsung 55 inch 4k. No stars taken away due to unbelievable price and 4k and HDR programs look GREAT on this budget friendly set. I was a little skeptical about purchasing a Sharp TV (Hiscense manufactures the TV’s and uses the Sharp name) but I’m very impressed with the TV so far.

I was looking for a TV for a spare room. 65 wouldn't fit and 50 was a little too small. Did some research and purchased this 58" Sharp. Since Hisense makes Sharp I was going into the purchase with low expectations. Hisense can have color bleeding and poor off-angle viewing but I was impressed with this panel! This panel is perfect for the room and has a great picture. Built-in Roku is amazing. However, non-voice activated remote but considering the price, not an issue.
Initial set up was easy but used the advanced set-up options to get optimal picture and sound. Speakers are OK. Setting to BIG BASS helps. It took about 20-30 minutes to get colors and contrast to my liking but well worth the extra time to set up.
The panel has impressive black levels for a $379 (on-sale) panel. It's perfect for a spare room, office and even a main area. Tweak the settings. You'll be surprised by this panel's potential.
Very satisfied. BestBuy was easy; purchase online, pick up at store. No lines. Quick!

Purchased this, our first "Smart TV", as a post-Christmas gift to the family. Being on a strict budget, we assumed by the price it was an entry level model, lacking any bells or whistles. Boy were we wrong! This has to be the easiest TV to set up right out of the box. We love all the individual settings for both picture and sound, not to mention the myriad of other settings for beautiful screen savers, parental settings and the ability to customize the connected device labels on the home screen. The free Roku programming is amazing. We are discovering new apps daily with a wide variety of genres to suit everyone in the family. Sound quality, while decent, wasn't an issue for us as we hooked our set up to an existing surround sound via HDMI and it operates seamlessly. The picture and color quality are fantastic. So glad we made this purchase, you will be too!

We had 3 TV's die on us over 18 months. So I decided to replace them with great deals as TV's don't last like they used to.
Very happy with this TV. We use this one every day. It is located so that I can watch while cooking. The color is great and so is the sound quality (rare in a TV nowadays).
Very easy to setup and comes with a lot of great features. It is our first Roku TV and I really like it.

The picture quality is amazing, built in roku is excellent and very convenient since you can control both tv and smart apps including volume with one remote. Only thing I don't like about the remote is that it's IR (you have to point it to the sensor on tv) and not wireless and has no headphone jack on remote like my three year old roku device. Overall I'm very happy with the way it looks, price, picture quality and features. I would definitely recommend it.

Our 60” Samsung went out after 5 years or so, and did the black screen thing. I wasn’t looking to spend a lot on a replacement. For the low price of this tv, the UHD quality is very good, a little rigging to get on the wall mount but not much. Easy to navigate, and had roku already installed. I like the condensed remotes, but it can’t connect with the cable box, so have to use two remotes. Not a deal breaker for the price point. Happy so far.

I have had sharp tv's for a long time. Even be for flat screens. So when flat screens came out I had no problem trying Sharp tv's. i Now have a 32" 1080p, a 40" 1080p and 43" 1080p and a 60" 1080p. So when they started going 2160p I started looking for a new version. now that my son moved out i gave him them 60" and bought the sharp 58". if the had a 60" i would of bought that one, has to fit in entertainment center, so couldn't go bigger. I have had no problems with any of my tv's. I love having roku on all of them with out the sticks. The pitcher is great from any angle of viewing. Easy to use and set up, even the apps on roku.
the only annoying thing is that if you have infinity cable too, you have to use two remotes unless you get a universal remote that can do both. if you can wait best buy usually will put the tv on sale.

Great tv, especially for the price, terrific picture and extremely easy to set up. My only issue is that it is supposedly a "smart" tv, but it doesn't have a browser available for it, either built-in or available to download. For some reason, being able to access the internet via the tv was the definition of a "smart" tv, but I guess not. I specifically wanted a smart tv to replace the older one I had, and the blue shirts at Best Buy didn't seem to be aware that this tv lacked a web browser. I also wanted the built-in Roku function, as I have that on a smaller tv I bought last winter for my bedroom, and find it very useful for streaming tv. Other than the lack of a browser however its a great value, and I'm looking forward to watching the upcoming college and pro football seasons on it!

This tv is a great deal for the price. The picture quality is as good as my vizio, and the built in roku has more features than a seperate roku, like the ability to pause live tv, which is great, especially for sports. One thing about the bluetooth, it is a "limited" bluetooth. First of all, you first have to buy and connect roku BT speakers in order to be able to connect any other BT devices at all. Then you can only connect a phone, tablet, computer, or laptop, you CAN NOT connect any BT headphones. Aside from that, I'm very happy with the tv

We bought this TV when it was on sale because my husband had been wanting a 4K TV. We have never had a smart TV before and the reviews were decent so we thought we'd give it a try. We have loved it so much since then, the picture is great, my husband says his PS4 Pro looks better on it, and we love having Roku built into it.

I'm so glad I got this TV! Definitely make sure your viewing angle is right for this TV. At first I had it too close and too low, which was hard on my eyes. But once I got it properly mounted, it was perfect. I'm impressed by the sound as well. It has a good range on its own. That doesn't compare to using a speaker, but overall... in a small room, you'll be happy with the TV sound. Something I noticed was that it doesn't turn off unless you change the settings. The TV screen essentially goes to sleep. I can wait all of 5 seconds for the TV to turn on rather than have it instantly just be on.
Roku is so easy to use! I have Apple and Amazon as well, but I think I'm happiest with Roku. The app store and UX are so easy and well done. I do wish I could customize a little bit, but nothing major.

I have mixed reviews on this TV. First, let me begin with the TV; it was a great value at the time of purchase. Bestbuy was having a great sale that allowed me to purchase the TV at a great price. You couldn't go wrong with the purchase of a 4K, under $400, built-in Roku, and over 55' inches. One would say a win in all areas. The quality of the picture was great, gaming great, and the refresh rate great. Unfortunately, the TV went black after only 1 year and 4 months. My only suggestion would be to have a protection plan to cover any issues. I hope this helps.
