Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the picture quality, price, easy setup, and Roku integration of the 58" Class - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR - Roku TV. They appreciate the amazing picture quality, user-friendly Roku TV operating system, and reasonable price point. However, some customers have concerns about the short lifespan, durability issues, remote control design, screen issues, and instances of the TV unexpectedly stopping working.

We purchased this TV because we got the 40 inch version a month before, and really liked it. This one, however, is downstairs and hooked up to our sound system. It was quite problematic getting it set up with the receiver. There are too many little tweaks that need to be done to it, and not all in the same menus. The ARC is a relatively new technology, so if you’re not familiar with that you need to research it to determine how to hook it up to your specific receiver, and make sure you have the correct cord. It is NOT just a standard HDMI. It is certainly not like the plug-and-play of the old days, but once it’s been hooked up we are all overall very, very happy with it. If you’re having problems with your sound coming through the receiver, you may have to contact sub tech-support for your receiver as we did. The receiver is less than six months old, so this is the first time that we needed to use the ARC technology with a tv. You don’t need the ARC technology, but there are bedefits to it. Great remote, easy to navigate menus, and the picture is superb. I’d give it 5 stars if they didn’t have various audio settings scattered throughout the menus.

Compact and light size for a 58". Got it to replace very heavy old 55". Sound system has surprising amount of volume without distortion. Ran it on 100 for a full DVD with no issues. Picture is great. Lots of menu settings to tweak sound and picture. The remote is pretty bad, so you need to link it to a better remote for convenience. You can also use a phone but I don't use that. This is the 3rd Sharp Roku I've bought recently and they are very handy. I can put them anywhere, even outside for picnics, and not worry about cable connections.

I saw this tv on sale and decided to replace the 11 year old Sharp Aquos in our basement. This tv is great! It took just a little time to get used to the Roku remote but now it’s simple to use. We liked this tv so much that we also bought another one like it but the other one is the 65”. Both have an excellent picture. The setup was pretty easy as well. You especially can’t beat it for the price.

Under Two Years of Ownership Now Looking Again

This TV was purchased on July 4th, 2019 and today is April 17th, 2021. As of today, the TV stopped working. Unfortunately the manufacturer's warranty has expired and there is no supplemental policy that was purchased. All in all, it was a great TV. Wonderful picture and responsive. I am awarding three stars only because a TV should not last for under two years. Stuff happens, so this may just be the bad egg in the bunch, or perhaps the rumors are true that Sharp's quality has really gone downhill in the past few years.

I brought the sharp because the price was excellent. The picture turned out to be far better then the display in the store. This was the first sharp TV that I had purchased so I was a little concerned but it was a good buy and worth the money. Sound was very good and the picture compared with some of the really expensive TV Great.

I got this during "black Friday in july" and let me tell you, so far hasn't disappointed. For the price was a great value and this TV hasn't disappointed. Picture quality seems great to me and everything is pretty easy to set-up as well as the interface. My only problems so far have been trying to pair my Cox remote to the TV and the sound can sometimes be not totally fulfilling. I have to somewhat more frequently change the volume than I feel I've had to do with other TVs. Sometimes can be hard to hear when talking, so.needs to be loud, and then gets really loud once action lights up. But otherwise everything's great.

Got this TV when it was on a Doorbuster Deal for $349.99. Definitely worth the purchase. I upgraded from a 49" and this TV exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is awesome. Sound is okay, but it's not a deal breaker or anything. I use it mainly for gaming and I love the way my games look. Just keep in mind that if using an XBox One or PS4 you need to change the HDMI Video Setting to HDMI 2.0 in order for the system to recognize the HDR support. Black and White levels are great.

Not a top of the line tv by any means but I bought it on a door buster deal for $350. I wouldn’t say it’s much better than my last Non 4k HD TV but it’s got some cool features to it. I like that it’s compatible with google assistant but functions are limited to simple things like on/off and volume/ launch this or that. Overall it’s great. It has a good picture I’d buy it again.

My old 50 inch TV stopped working just before Christmas. This was our main TV but was 7 years old so we had to replace it. Because it was Christmas time and short on cash I did some research and decided on a Sharp ROKU 58 inch. It was on sale for about $400 with tax. We love the picture, ease of use and we are overall very satisfied with the purchase. I have already sent 3 of my friends to Best Buy for similar TVs.

Only reason i won't give this TV a 5 star rating is the sound is very low. Will be purchasing a sound bar to go along with the TV. In a smaller living room most of the time I have to turn the volume up to between 55 and 75 depending on the show i'm watching. Other than that, great buy for the price! Picture is great, Roku being integrated is prefect for all the apps for cord-cutters like myself.
